“So it’s something like that, Dad, Mom. Parties from the Bronson Group company do not want to cooperate with you, they want to buy your shares and own this family company completely. But the matter of who runs the company, they still fully entrust it to you. That is the best offer in my opinion.”

William started telling stories, he then looked at everyone who was there. Their facial expressions seemed really so blue and gloomy, while William acted so relaxed.

Wiltson's company was a company that everyone in the family was always proud of. In every banquet and meeting between businessmen, they always pretended to be the number one company in the world. Even when someone celebrated a birthday, they will celebrate it at home with the most magnificent decorations chosen in the whole world. They will not accept cheap gifts, the gifts they will receive were worth at least a million dollars each.

And William would never get in the way of birthday celebrations, because he knew he didn’t have a million dollars to buy any of the six members of the Wiltson family any gifts.

“So are we going to lose our company?” asked Mrs. Wiltson. She was still very confused and William was sure that if Mrs. Wiltson's confusion was more that she would never be able to boast about her supposedly advanced company again. Especially among the wives of entrepreneurs who had entered the circle of socialite associations.

“We already have no other reason, nor do we have any other choice. Having the Bronson company take over our shares and having the courage to overcome the crisis in our company alone is a very brave decision for them. So I think we should be grateful because they have helped us a lot.”

“Really?”

“And one more thing, they also give us the honor to continue to run our company. Isn’t that great?” said Mr. Wiltson.

Everyone there could only stay silent, they seemed to be adrift in a reality that felt so fast, they didn’t even think that this could happen.

A company that was initially advanced, after being kicked out of the employers’ association, immediately experienced a terrible crisis. Then they had to lose their shares in a very short amount of time.

“Isn’t this all because of the Bronson Group company? If they didn’t remove our company from the position of secretary in this state employers’ association, surely our company wouldn’t be like this.”

"That's what business is, we don't know when everything will turn to ashes."

“And here .…” William said as he was handing the Wiltsons several suitcases. “The one billion dollar bill that I promised you, I brought it. Who knows this money is enough to make you happy, or to just buy some of your shares that have been saved by the Bronson Group.”

“O … one billion dollar bill?!” Bobby and Mike screamed. The two of them immediately opened the suitcases, how shocked they were to see the money piled up in the suitcases in cash.

“You … where did you get this much money, Will? Where did you steal or rob?” Bobby accused of William stealing. Because he did not believe that William was able to get a billion dollars even in just a few days.

“Isn’t the most important thing right now is not where I got this money from? But how do you guys remember your bet and stop saying bad things about me?”

“I—”

“Even you have sworn in front of Mom and Dad. I’m sure you don’t want to break your vows, do you?”

Bobby and Mike looked very annoyed, they had no idea that they were being framed by William this way.

Moreover, they had absolutely no idea where William was getting the money from.

“Surely this is money from Miss Amaris right? That woman must have nagged her parents to get this money. Be honest with us that you used that woman, didn’t you, Will?”

“You can ask for yourself whether I asked for her help or not, what is clear is that I am still waiting for your good faith to fulfil the oath you have made yourself.”

“Y … you.”

“Mom, and Dad. How about this? Are you raising your children with a lie? How can they not want to carry out the vows they have made themselves?”

Mr and Mrs Wiltson could only remain silent. Like being pelted with rat droppings, that was how they felt right now.

“Bob, Mike, whatever you have done, you have to take responsibility for it. Don’t ever embarrass Dad and Mom like this.”

“Is it because Will gave you a chance to rise and gave you money, so you are now defending this adopted child, Mom?”

Mrs. Wiltson was silent. She really didn’t want to.  But to please William who had done enough today, at least it wouldn’t be bad. After all, one billion dollars waa not a small amount of money, one could even say that with that money all of their families had received an injection of funds after everything that happened.

Moreover, Mrs. Wiltson already knew from Mr. Wiltson about the reason the Bronson family company revoked their family company’s position as secretary from the employer’s association in this country. That was because Bobby, the youngest son of this family, had taken the association’s funds secretly, and it had been noticed by the Bronson Group. They didn’t want to let this embarrassing matter become known to other people, because if they did, not only the shares that will disappear from their hands, but the pride and trust of other entrepreneurs in them.

“You guys are grown. I’m sure if you can think for yourself which is appropriate and inappropriate. Of course this has been enough discourse for you.”

Bobby and Mike elbowed each other, right now what was at stake was pride. If they refused, how would they be able to stand up straight looking at William, because their words really couldn’t be held at all. And if they did keep their vows, of course the shame would be even more real. How could they kneel down and kiss the feet of an adopted child like William?

“So are you guys really not going to do anything? All right, I’ll—”

“Okay!” Mike said, interrupting William’s words. He immediately pulled Bobby’s hand to bow, then both of them knelt right in front of William’s feet.

With their irritated faces and utter embarrassment, Mike and Bobby both kissed William’s feet in front of their parents and two sisters.

William watched it with pride. With money, he could silence everyone in the Wiltson family, and he was very satisfied, especially since everything he wanted had come true.

“Will, I wanted to tell you something, and I thought I should share this news with the members of the Wiltson family.”

Isabella entered the Wiltson family room. She looked at William with a wide smile.

“Oh yes, what is it?”  William asked enthusiastically, though it was clear he already knew what Isabella was going to say right now.

“I was trying to apply for the director position at the Bronson Group, and you know I got accepted as the temporary director at the Bronson Group. Because until this moment Young Master Bronson was still reluctant to take up his position, so I replaced him temporarily. And … the other good news is, it looks like Will and I will be moving from here, I was given a house and also a car from the company and we will be moving soon.”

“What? This is crazy!” shrieked Wilona.

Even she didn’t expect that William’s life would become this lucky when he was with Isabella. After William miraculously got one billion dollars, now Isabella worked as the director at Bronson Group, the most advanced company in this country, they even got lots of luxury facilities.

“Aren’t you embarrassed, Will? You can only be a parasite over Miss Amaris, don’t you ever think about getting a job to make your life more useful instead of being unemployed all the time?”

William was silent, he looked at Wilona with an extraordinary annoyed look.

“I have absolutely no problem with William being unemployed, and I already have enough to take care of everything.  I love to work and I enjoy this job, it’s a great achievement.”

“Miss Amaris, shouldn’t you go home and tell your family about your achievement? I’m sure your family will be very pleased, and they will get the chance to work with the Bronson Group again.”

“Unfortunately that is not possible, Mrs. Wiltson. Because from what I know from Miss Linda Ley earlier, I was chosen to be the director, aside from my achievements, is because Mr. Hobat directly got a recommendation from Young Master Bronson. I also don’t know where Young Master Bronson knows me from, and I shouldn’t mix work and family matters. As for the matters of the Bronson Group and Amaris Group ... I must not interfere. “Personal problems? Has your family offended Young Master Bronson?”

William looked at Isabella who was already looking at him inquiringly.

“I want to ask you something. Were you at the Bronson Group this afternoon?” Isabella asked.

“Ah, no … maybe you noticed the wrong person. Do you think it makes sense that a William Robert Wiltson, whose surname I don’t even deserve to use, is in the Bronson Group?”

Isabella thought again, what William said did make sense. As a person with no work experience, and an orphan whose background was unclear, how could William be in that giant company?

“Okay, I believe you. Maybe I’m hallucinating.”

“Maybe. Well, I was at home all day, and did nothing.”

“Hey, Miss Amaris, William has lied to you.”  Bobby was now screaming again.

“What do you mean?”

“Earlier William left, and came home with a billion dollars. Dad told him to go to the Bronson Group to offer a partnership.”

“Is that true, Will?”

William fell silent again, he glanced at Bobby with his sharp gaze. Bobby’s face was full of laughter, taunting William if he could expose William’s lies.

“I forgot to tell you that. I’m sorry, Isabel.”

“So where did you get that kind of money, Will?”

“Maybe he robbed the Bronson Group!”

“Shut up, Bob!”
