“Who is lying, Hanna?”

Amelia was the one who asked the question. She naturally closed the gap between her and Jason.

For the last week, their boundaries had become thin with Hanna’s demanding behaviour. Since she wanted both of them to be at her side, she would only fall asleep while hugging both of them. They severely lacked boundaries after spending most of the day close to each other.

It felt natural for her to stand so close to Jason.

“He is lying, Mommy!”

Hanna pointed her finger at the skinny man.

She heard everything, even though she was in her daddy’s hand. When this ugly uncle said this elder brother and sisters stole his money, it reminded her of the day she met her daddy. She never used her ability to read the minds of the people on purpose, but she wanted to see if what this uncle said was true.

‘Mommy and Daddy always said it is bad to lie, and this uncle is lying.’

Hanna had seen many people’s hearts, but this one was among one of the ugliest ones she ever saw.
