Fenris' mother came in earlier than expected. Her usual style of attending such a meeting is usually a grand one. The last person to come in and for some reason, her opinion is the one most accepted. In past meetings they have had, she is usually the last to come, last to speak, and one with the accepted opinion. If it's not hers, it would be Fenris. Their mother will only build on his opinion. And Ashina is mostly silent. She supports her mother's actions and ideas. And their father is the one who determines what happens or not. Skoll is usually just there. No one listens to his opinion about anything. If the concluded opinion requires someone to put it into action, it's mostly him. With recent activity, the Ultimate Alpha's palace is jumbled together. Guards are working to get the corpse to a good burial ground. A royal one where members of the ultimate Alpha's family are buried. The other man might have been buried on a commoner's burial ground, but one of the maids around had screamed when she identified who he was. They must be having some romantic relationship. The room's silence comes with contempt. Everyone has their eyes fixed on something else. The anger in everyone in the room is something Beowulf could feel. His uncles and aunties are in his father's courtroom. They have come together and need to have a meeting. The last person they were waiting for came in. The Ultimate Alpha himself. Adalwolf controlled his breathing. "They didn't mention the fact that people like Edon are to be avoided in battle, did they?" Adalwolf smiled, still catching his breath. Beowulf can't forgive himself for what he has done. He deserves every single act of aggression that comes from anyone he knows. But his father had decided to keep it between himself and his brother. Beowulf is concerned about how his father came to know about what happened. After his father asked everyone to leave, he expected his father to ask him questions. Ask him real questions like what is true or did it happen. Even if his father hadn't asked him that question, maybe just something else. He even thought this father was about to punish him for going to Ashina's house. Ever since he became the Ultimate Alpha, he had been warned never to walk or associate around women alone. Jealousy at times bred rumour. And rumours could be used to taint your image at times. That's what a young priest had told him. This same young priest had told him to be careful of how he relates with women. They are innocent and can be so tempting. He was supposed to stay off of them.
