Henry's mind raced with confusion. What was Irene doing here? He had only expected to find Priscilla after she covered him with a blanket the night before.

"How did you get in?" he asked Irene. She tilted her head, a playful smile on her lips.

"You were dead to the world when I arrived," she replied. "Snoring like a chainsaw in the garden, might I add." She chuckled at the memory.

"I tried waking you at first, making plenty of noise as I cleaned. Banging drawers, blasting the vacuum." Her smile turned sly. "But you slept through it all. So I decided to let you rest and tidy up instead."

Irene took a step back, leaning against the doorframe once more. "You must've been more tired than I thought. I'm just glad you're finally up."

Henry was still as confused, but he merely shrugged, going into the bathroom to dress up.

After getting dressed into his usual suit and suit pants, Henry exited his room and glanced over the banister. Irene stood below, her forehead creased in concentration
