Henry's heart sank, the color draining from his face, as he tried to understand what was going on.

"What do you mean by that?" Henry asked, his brow furrowing in curiosity.

Sage leaned back and shook his head. "Nothing. I was just being so kind to ask about the well-being of the lawyer who is trying so hard to solve this case," He raised one eyebrow, a mischievous glint in his eyes as the corner of his mouth curved upward in a subtle smirk.

Henry couldn't believe it as his brows rode up towards his hairline. He couldn't even think of the possibility.

There was no way Sage could have kidnapped Nathan, could he? The thought churned his stomach, a knot forming in his gut.

But how could he have kidnapped him? Doubt flashed across his face.

Nathan was no fool, Henry knew that. He was a smart and vigilant individual and was not easily taken advantage of. Unless... unless Sage was very good at manipulating.
