Wrath of Nathan Poroit

Nigel and the gangsters were terrified as they winced in pain. The only thought that crossed their minds was to leave the premises immediately, but they were surrounded. Nigel reached for the gun that fell from his hand when he got kicked the first time. He hid the gun, but he didn't have the balls to shoot anyone with it.

"My sister is the CEO of Foden Group and her boyfriend is Luke! If you hurt me, you'll regret it," Nigel shouted, but she ignored him. Nigel has never been in a situation like this before, he always had the upper hand, and most especially, he underestimated Nathan. He thought beating him up would just be a piece of cake.

Nigel decided to risk his life by pulling the trigger on Nathan. He slowly tried bringing the gun from where he hid it.

"What's that you're hiding?" One of the hefty men in a black suit asked the second he saw him. Nigel didn't respond, his ego didn't get him to beg for them to let him go. 

"What's that you're hiding?" He asked again, but Nigel didn't answer. The man turned to his colleague and signaled for him to search Nigel.

They searched him and caught sight of a gun with him, they instantly took the gun away from him.

"A gun," He murmured before punching Nigel. The other guys threw punches at him and the gangsters on the floor for daring to hurt Nathan.

Nathan turned to stare at Nigel and the gangsters with disgust. "Don't hurt them too much," He ordered before walking away

"Listen to his orders," the girl ordered the men that surrounded Nigel and his boys.

She turned to Nathan and said, "Come with me to the car," Nathan didn't protest, he was surprised when she called him Mr. Poroit, and ever since, he couldn't comprehend how she knew his last name when he didn't know anything about her. 

Nathan was curious to know who she was, so he willingly followed her to the car and asked sternly, "Who are you?" One thing he was sure of was that she wasn't here to make trouble because she helped him deal with Nigel and the gangsters that planned to beat the hell out of him. 

"I'm the CEO of Brown Pharmaceutical Corporation and we produce medicine," she introduced herself.

"But somehow, a very important person in the society took our medicine but didn't get better, instead he got worse and to save our reputation we must cure the person” the girl explained causing a frown to appear on Nathan's face. 

"Brown's corporation," He thought. The name rang a bell in his ear. He knew the company because he had once saved the Lord of the Brown Family. Nathan realized that they were aware of who he really was.

"You didn't tell me your name," Nathan said as he stared at her. Her face flushed red, and she instantly gazed down at her shoes before responding, "My name is Lily"

Years ago, when Lily's grandfather fell ill, Nathan cured him and because of the joy that the family felt, they decided to show their gratitude by getting their most precious daughter to marry Nathan, but unfortunately, Nathan left without a word. 

A frown appeared on Nathan's face the second he heard her name. He was displeased when he heard the name and he tried connecting everything and he got a memory of when he cured the famous old man in the brown family of a rare disease 3 years ago before he left the Poroit family.

 "How did you find me?" He asked. He wasn't pleased that they knew his whereabouts now and there was only one person who would go to such lengths just for him to come back home. 

"The butler of the Poroit family told me that you're in town and he told me your location," Lily responded, causing Nathan to narrow his eyes.

The butler thought that Lily would be able to persuade him to come back home. It's been 3 years since he left. They were supposed to get married. Nathan vowed not to go back to the Poroit family until justice had been served.

"That was when I saw that those fools were messing with you." Lily gritted her teeth and clutched her fingers into a tight fist as she remembered how Nigel had pointed a gun at Nathan. 

"I think we should beat the hell out of them and take them to jail," she said in a rage.

"No, leave him. He's only obeying his sister's orders like a puppet" Nathan scoffed and turned away from Lily. "So you're here to convince me to come back home?" Nathan asked.

"Mr. Poroit, your family needs you. The lord of the Poroit family is dying and they need you back home," she tried explaining. She gazed at him, but Nathan avoided her gaze. 

"My word still stands, I won't return to that house if the killer of my parents hasn't been punished" He repeated the same words he told the butler to Lily but Lily was determined not to leave this place without convincing Nathan that he needed to go home.

Nathan sighed because he knew that the butler wanted what was best for him and the Poroit family, but he desperately wanted justice for his parents. He has reminded the butler countless times that he 

Before Lily could say a word, Nathan's phone rang, "Isabella" He sneered and answered the call.

"Hello?" He abruptly answered the call. 

"How dare you?" Isabella yelled. The moment she got a call from one of Nigel's boys that escaped.

"If you have no reasonable thing to say, then I'll end the call." Nathan narrowed his eyes.

"Don't hang up on me Nathan, don't try it" she warned but Nathan scoffed and ignored her

"Where is my brother? How dare you order those cowards to beat him?" Isabella asked, but before Nathan could respond, he heard Emma's angry voice.

"What did you do to my son, you fool?"
