He could see her from his side mirror.

He pressed a button that lifted the barrier for them to drive through.

The security protocols in that residential area were very tight due to the fact that a lot of wealthy people resided there.

As obvious as the prediction was, they were still on their way to the appointment a few minutes after 10:00 am.
