What if the other two skills are also like that?

That they need to be started form the basic skill and modified until grandmaster level? If that is the case, the name of that sill in the system store would not be Flowing Sword Arts and might be something else.

He hoped the system store would at least give a hint when he bought skills from the system store so that he would not waste his money.

And unlike the other skill, when a skill reaches the supreme level, the system would not help the host to understand it.

That is why Li Xin decided to review all of the skills that he had skip before.

Even though he had learned the Six Gate of Sword he rarely uses it since he uses the skill before the One Sword technique which is the Twin Dragon Soaring Sword

‘I should practice it tonight’ he thought to himself.

He finished reviewing all of his martial skill. After all, it is not that many. He reminded himself that after this, he should review it the moment he got it and not delayed it until it has been a while

His eyes then gaze toward the lightness skill section. Lightness skill or Qingqong is one of the things he pays attention the most

His lightness technique right now is [Swift Strides Stepping the Clouds] [Storm Descend] [Darkness Covering the Heavens] [White Tiger Treading the Walls of Immortals] [Lightning Flashed by Without a Trace] [Void Step] and [Azure Dragon Encircling the Heavenly Court]

All of them is ranked up to the Grandmaster realm.

Some of them were basic move in the beginning but when some of them were modified it was upgraded.

Li Xin then opens all of the status window to review it to make sure that there is no hidden feature of each of these skill

While LI Xin could easily use all of this skill like he had been practicing it for decades, he fears that because he did not check his status window in the beginning that he would miss any effect or hidden condition that is available.

He taps all of his lightness skill and one by one the description window of each of the lightness skill popped out

Flowing with the wind, striding through the Clouds like Immortal. Body light as a feather, step toward the clouds and reach the Heavens

Flowing with the flow of the world, the mind is calm. Being cut and sliced, and rejoin, follow the example of water.

Stride across water like Immortals, ignore the ripples. 

Jump gracefully over water like butterflies, fly across the water like dragonflies.

Force exerted, storms rises, Force dispersing, storm descend. Spins fiercely in the air, reach for the clouds like a force of nature, the carp rising to the Dragon Gate

Darkness Covering the Heavens [Grandmaster Level]

Step across the wind, moves light like a feather blown by the wind, no sound could be heard. Stealthily covering the position of Heavens, dashing up toward the Heavens.

Natural like the elements, each movement following the flow of nature, travelling Immortal crossing the clouds to go to Heavenly Abodes.

The Dark Clouds covers the Heavens, there is no need to meld.

For your movement follows the Shadows, coming down, darkness reigns.

When attacking, no trace could be seen.

Covering the thirty-six position, none could escape.

Extreme speed brings about calamitous attack.

With your steps covers all position of escape and attack all open position. Cover the Heavens and block all exit

The White Tiger Treads the Clouds Walls of Immortals, with each step, a brick of the wall breaks.

Striding across the Clouds, who dares to block?  Immortals enjoys the vicissitude of the mortal world; the White Tiger came to end the Banquet

Lightning Flashed by Without a Trace [Grandmaster Level]

Become sturdy like a horse and run fast as lightning.

A basic lightness skill that would allow the practitioner to move faster while on the ground, appearing like a bolt of lightning and close the distance with the enemies in a blink of an eye

Void Step [Grandmaster Level]

Stepping in the air, the weight distributed to the wind, flying and gliding to one desire. When falling, like a feather.

When flying, like a flying tiger. When descending, like a carefree immortal

A feather could be heavy, and a flying tiger could be light.

The wind would aid and help and so flow with nature. When there is obstacle fly over it like a flying tiger.

Azure Dragon Encircling the Heavenly Court [Grandmaster Level]

The Azure Dragon circles the Heavens and bring about a storm.

Leaping toward the Dragon Gate, a carp is transformed into a dragon.

Flowing with the flow of the world, circling and attacking from the most advantageous position.

He looks at his lightness skill point and then smiles. Of all the points of skills that he had, lightness skill points are the easiest one to gain.

He already had twelve thousand lightness skill points.

But he did not even use one of it.

Since all the lightness skills that he has is already powerful enough for him to run away against anyone

Because Li Xin had never yet fought against another person, he did not know how powerful and fast he is.

But, he is confident that even in front of someone who is almost reaching grandmaster level, he would be able to escape relying on his lightness skill

Of course if he were to fight against a grandmaster he might not be able to escape

But those old thing is usually sitting down in their sect and schools and rarely move and every move would usually be a big news in Wulin

Li Xin is not stupid to fight against a grandmaster

‘Hah, even though I no longer wanted to use lightness skill points to upgrade the rank of my lightness skill it would be useful later’

Even though he did not use it lightness skill points also have other uses. And that use it to be converted to Martial Skill points.

He did think of combining lightness skill. Of course he didn’t have that kind of ability yet but he is quite sure if he broke through to a few level, a combine skill might be bestowed to him by the system

He then looks at his infamy points and fame points.

It is still zero.

‘The sorrow of having no one watching my great performance’ he thought to himself.

Even though he is powerful enough to face off against a pack of wolves, since no one knows that he is doing it how could he could fame points or infamy points.

After that his gaze turns toward his Life Skill points. He did not need to review his Life Skill since it is one of the few things he truly reviews when he got the skill.

The Life Skill is divided into two. There is the gathering life skill category. Under that category, is the profession of [Farmer] [Miner] [Woodcutter] [Hunter] and [Fisherman]

All of them are in Artisan rank

When Li Xin open the description window for Life Skill points, it had explained to him about Life Skill and Life Skill points

Life Skill Point

Life skill points is used to upgrade Life Skill.

Life Skill points is gained by using the Life Skill and practicing it in real life.

The more it benefited people or harm people in some cases, the easier the Life Skill point could be increased

Life skill that is related to martial arts and life skills that could lead to one enlightenment of the martial path are harder to upgrade. Normal life skill is easier to upgrade.

Life skill could be upgraded by using Life Skill points or by manually raising one proficiency in the skill. By practicing or doing practical work of the Life Skill, one might increase Life Skill points

There are ten ranks in Life Skill

There is Novice rank which is the first rank.

Then there is the Apprentice.

Journeyman. Expert. Artisan. Illustrious Master.

Till this point the point needed is not that much but if he wanted to rank up to Grandmaster level, the amount of point is tremendous.

After Illustrious Master, there is the Grandmaster rank and then Legendary and the most elusive of them all is Saint

As for the points needed for each rank Li Xin also had checked it. Unlike Power Level, the entire list of the rank and the points needed for him is not hidden

Novice 10 skill points is needed.

Apprentice 20 skill points is needed. Journeyman 50 skill points needed. Expert 80 skill points needed. Artisan 100 skill points needed. Illustrious 150 skill points needed

Master 600 skill points needed.

Grandmaster 50,000 skill points needed. Legendary 100,000 skill points needed and the most absurd of them all is Saint rank which needed 500,000 skill points

Even though Life Skill points is easier to get than Martial Skill points, this did not mean it is easy to gain five hundred thousand skill points

But being a Saint rank must be some big deal if it required that much of a point.

Even though Li Xin did not farm that much, he did not plant a few cabbages and plants on the back of his hut.

The description of Farmer life skill is

Farmer [Artisan rank]

The Farmer is a gathering life skill that allows the host to plant crops on farmland, raise silkworms, and process some food materials to create additional food materials through the system or manually.

Any other related farmer abilities are also unlocked.

To learn the skill, the host must purchase Shennong Script in the System Store.

The price will depend on what other gathering skills the player has already learned.

Upon learning the skill, the player will receive the title Farming Novice and can perform the Farmer skills.

To use the life skill, the player must have a hoe for planting crops and a tablet for raising silkworms in the host backpack.

This Life Skill would strengthen one muscle and physical power and increase one own ability to endure pain and toughen up the body and increase one stamina.

To raise the level of Farmer rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up. To level up ranks by using Quest please notify the system. When one is performing Farming activities, Life Skill point will be added.

TIPS: To plants crops, the host must purchase the seeds form the System or find it by yourself or buy it from the people of this world.

Seeds are special in that it did not need to be put inside the backpack and instead could be put in the system. The limit is ninety-nine seeds that could be put in the system.

While he could raise silkworm in his backpack, Li Xin did not try. Of course at that time, he was not in the mood

Maybe, if he raises silkworm and process it into silk he could open up a very profitable business in the South

But Life Skill is not only for survival skill. For it to be recognized as a Life Skill by the system, it must have use for the improvement of martial skill. If not, it would not be listed.

As the system said that being a farmer could strengthen one muscle and physical power and increase one own ability to endure pain and toughen up the body and increase one stamina.

He is now at an Artisan level. Most of the time he uses Life Skill points to rank up his skill and he did not ask for Quest.

But he does know that each time he ranks up his farming skills, he learns many things like predicting the weather, knowing which soil is good and bad for the cultivation of certain fruits or herbs and many other related farming job.

Though Li Xin did not do much farming even with this ability because he would not be here for long.

He might do so if one day if he were to establish a school or living in some fixed place. But for now, the best benefit that this life skill gave him was to give him powerful stamina and muscles.

If not how could his fifteen-year-old body could withstand the extreme movement of his sword move.

Even before he could unleash it, his body might be wrecked first. There is a reason why people also practices the body while practicing their martial arts.

As for Miner, the description is almost the same but it also affects a different supplementary part of Li Xin martial path

Miner[Artisan]

The Miner is a gathering Life Skill that allow the hots to mine for ores and minerals from various mines located throughout the world and to smelt ores into metals that would complement the blacksmith life skills.

Host learn the skill by purchasing Torn Diary of a Miner in Bashu.

The price will depend on what other gathering skills the player has already learned.

Upon learning the skill, the player will receive the title Mining Novice and can perform the Miner skills.

To use the life skill, the player must have a mining pickaxe in the host backpack.

This Life Skill would strengthen the host arm strength and body strength. And when the mastery and rank of this Life Skill reaches a certain level, there is a certain chance of triggering the martial art unique to itself related to the Life Skill.

To raise the level of Miner rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up. To level up ranks by using Quest please notify the system. When one is performing mining activities, Life Skill point will be added.

TIPS: Mining carefully would increase host concentration and mental power.

Miner not only increases his concentration and mental power, there is also a chance that when he reaches a high enough level or understanding of Mining, he could trigger an understanding of a martial skill derived from the Life Skill.

As for Woodcutter, it did not have such an advantage like Farmer or Mining but it is very useful

Woodcutter[Artisan]

The Woodcutter is a gathering life skill that allows the host to cut wood from various trees located throughout the world.

To learn the skill, you have to purchase the Manual of Cutting Through the Grain in the system store.

The price will depend on what other gathering skills the player has already learned.

 Upon learning the skill, the player will receive the title Woodcutting Novice and can perform the Woodcutter skills. To use the life skill, the player must have an axe in their backpack.

This Life Skill would strengthen one muscle and physical power.

To raise the level of Woodcutter rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up. To level up ranks by using Quest please notify the system. When one is cutting certain trees and manage to cut it with least damage or cutting is cleanly, Life Skill point will be added.

The larger the tree that is being cut and the cleaner the cut of the tree, the more life skill one would get. The Life Skill points given is adjusted accordingly to the host power level and host experience in hunting such beast.

Like farming, it also strengthens his muscle and physical power.

When Li Xin first learn woodcutting and activate this life skill, he could easily bring down trees easily once he knows where to cut and how to cut

Don’t underestimate this knowledge.

In this world where you don’t have a chainsaw to easily cut down large trees, knowledge of how to cut it could reserve your energy.

And for Li Xin, it is not only made him able to cut trees faster and easier, it also trains his muscle

Li Xin had a little bit fat when he first arrived in this world. But in a week, most of his fat were burned.

It is not surprising given that he built a small but intricate hut.

To some it is a proper house.

He also hunted in the forest, trains his body when he uses his lightness skill and fights against the drugged wolves.

Some of these is even more effective than running ten kilometers a day. Give him a month, and he is quite sure that his entire body would be all muscle
