The Hunter is a gathering life skill that allows the player to skin, disjoint and gut certain animals and collect their meat, skin, fur, or other body parts.

To learn the skill, you have to purchase the Manual of Hunting, Tracking and Killing in the system store.

The price will depend on what other gathering skills the player has already learned. Upon learning the skill, the practitioner will receive the title Hunting Novice and can perform hunting skills.

To use the life skill, the player must have a skinning knife. To raise the level of hunter rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up. To level up ranks by using Quest please notify the system. When one is hunting certain beast and manage to kill it or capture it, Life Skill point will be added.

The harder the beast to kill and the higher their danger level, the more life skill one would get. The Life Skill points given is adjusted accordingly to the host power level and host experience in hunting such beast.

TIP: Hunting the same beast over and over again might see a decrease in the Life Skill point that would be rewarded

Fisherman [Artisan]

The Fisherman is a gathering life skill that allows the host to catch fish locate throughout the world. Host learn the skill by purchasing Jiang Taigong Fishing with Straight Hook manual.

The price will depend on what other gathering skills the player has already learned.

Upon learning the skill, the player will receive the title Fishing Novice and can perform the Fishing skills. To use the life skill, the player must have a fishing rod in the host backpack.

The dissection skill would also be given free of charge to the host making the host able to slice and dice through all the fishes with ease.

This Life Skill would strengthen the host arm strength and cultivate a patient disposition and bring clarity to one mind.

And when the mastery and rank of this Life Skill reaches a certain level, there is a certain chance of triggering the martial art unique to itself related to the Life Skill.

To raise the level of Fisherman rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up. To level up ranks by using Quest please notify the system. When one is performing fishing activities and caught fish, Life Skill point will be added.

Life Skill points rewarded would differ according to the size and the rarity of the fish being caught

TIPS: The resources gathered through fishing and dissection can be used by Chefs, Herbalists, and Poison Makers.

Each of these life skill seems to enhance his disposition and abilities. Li Xin remembers that in the Legend of Condor Hero there is the four aides of Reverend Yideng.

Then he also had learned six Life Skill in the manufacturing categories. Each of them could help him in the path of martial path

The first is tailor

The Tailor is a manufacturing life skill that that allows the host to create clothing, armor, and item bags.

The host would also be able to refine cloths, linens/cottons, and silk into armor and item bags, as well as embroidering armor to add additional effects.

To learn the skill, the host has to purchase the Record of Minglan Embroidery in the system store.

Upon learning the skill, the practitioner will receive the title Tailor Novice and can perform tailoring skills.

To use the life skill, the host must have a pair of scissors in their backpack and a needle.

To sew or create an item one must have the necessary materials. The materials could be bought in the system store or manually found.

The host is recommended to find the materials by themselves.

The path to self-improvement is endless.

The price of ingredients and other related items regarding the Tailoring Life Skill will depend on what other manufacturing life skill the host had already learned.

To raise the level of tailoring rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up or craft items that would satisfy the requirements of the system.

To level up ranks by using Quest please notify the system.

When one is sewing, create clothing, armor, and item bags and manages to use the tailoring skill successfully or making an item that is out of expectation and functional, Life Skill points would be added to help the host

The harder the items that needs to be sewn or created and the more useful and functional it is to the host safety and improvement to host ability to improve, the more life skill the host would get. The Life Skill points given is adjusted accordingly to the host power level and host experience in crafting items

TIP: Creating and sewing the same item over and over again might see a decrease in the Life Skill point that would be rewarded

The moment he learns tailoring, he could easily sew his own clothes.

The Cook is a manufacturing life skill that allows the hosts to create food and beverage that will not only helps in sating one hunger but also in recovering one internal energy and vitality.

To learn the skill, you have to purchase the Recipe Book of the Old Du, must have a chopping knife, spoon. Upon learning the skill, the practitioner will receive the title Cook Novice and can perform cooking skills.

To cook one must have the necessary ingredients. The ingredients could be bought in the system store or manually found.

The host is recommended to find the ingredients by themselves.

The path to self-improvement is endless. The price of ingredients and other related items regarding the Cook Life Skill will depend on what other manufacturing life skill the host had already learned.

To raise the level of cook rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up or cook some dishes that would satisfy the requirements of the system.

To level up ranks by using Quest please notify the system.

When one is cooking certain dishes and manages to cook it successfully or making a dish that is out of expectation and delicious, Life Skill points would be added to help the host

The harder the dishes that needs to be cooked the more life skill the host would get. The Life Skill points given is adjusted accordingly to the host power level and host experience in cooking

TIP: Cooking the same dishes over and over again might see a decrease in the Life Skill point that would be rewarded

Since he learned Cook life skill, every time he raises the ranks, there are more and more things he could cook.

Li Xin is ashamed to say this but he is not that good of a cook. He could cook simple things like omelet and a few simple pasta dishes.

But he is not that good of a cook and mostly he would order take out. But, thanks to this skill he did not have to eat bland thing.

And it is also because of this Life Skill that it is easy for him to get Life Skill points.

After all, each time he cooks he get Life Skill points. The harder the dish the more points he would get

He then looks at the other manufacturing skill he has which is the Poison Maker.

‘Maybe, I should pay attention to this skill now’ he thought to himself. After all, today he is nearly attacked by a poisonous substance.

Suddenly he felt danger is so close to him right now

He thought of the Poison Maker life skill and then the window appeared in front of his eyes.

Poison Maker [Artisan rank]

The Poison maker is a manufacturing life skill that that allows the host to create poisons. This is a very useful skill to have in the treacherous world of Jianghu.

The host could produce drugs that provide benefits to one body and also one that could kill the enemy as well as poisons that augment the host weapons and armors.

Would also help in the understanding of many medicine related profession as poison maker is just the other side of a healer and herbalist and physician.

To learn the skill, the host has to purchase the Record Manual of the Northern Practice of Poisons and It Application in the system store.

Upon learning the skill, the practitioner will receive the title Poison Maker Novice and can concoct poison pills and create poisonous solution

To use the life skill, the host must have a Poison Maker Crusher in their backpack.

To concoct or create poison pills or poisonous solution, the host must have the necessary materials and ingredients. The materials and ingredients could be bought in the system store or manually found.

The host is recommended to find the materials or the ingredients by themselves.

The path to self-improvement is endless. The price of ingredients and other related items regarding the Poison Making Life Skill will depend on what other manufacturing life skill the host had already learned.

To raise the level of poisoning rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up or craft items that would satisfy the requirements of the system.

When the host is concocting or creating poison pill or poisonous solutions and manages to use the poisoning skill successfully or making a poison that is out of expectation and functional, Life Skill points would be added to help the host

The harder the poisons and the more lethal the poison that is created and more functional it is to the host safety and improvement to host ability to improve, the more life skill the host would get. The Life Skill points given is adjusted accordingly to the host power level and host experience in crafting items

As the description of the skill said, it is really a useful skill to have in the treacherous world of Jianghu.

For each Life Skill, there is Life Skill item. Like the Farmer life skill has the Shennong Script. It might relate to the legend of Shennong.

In the Shennong Script, Li Xin could learn which herb could be planted, how to plant it, how to pluck it out, what fertilizers to be used, which one cures illness and which one could bring illness.

Farmer also got a Hoe and a Tablet for raising silk worms.  The Hoe is different than normal hoe. But only Li Xin could use that hoe. Li Xin notices it the last time he uses it.

The same for Miner Life Skill. For Miner Life Skill he got Diary of a Miner in Bashu and Mining Pickaxe

For the Diary, it shows him a map of mines in Sichuan. And for Mining Pickaxe, it is heavier than normal pickaxe and requires great stamina for him to swing it down.

Truth be told, other than breaking down some stones nearby, Li Xin did not practice Mining that much and rely on Life Skill points to raise its rank to Artisan level but even then he could feel the improvement in his body.

But for Poison Maker he got the Record Manual of the Practice of Poisons and It Application and Poison Maker Tools

With this, he learns a few recipes. Most of this poison is to weaken the enemy. But he never tries to concoct a poison pills or a poison powder

In other words, while he is theoretically perfect he had never actually concocted a pill.

‘That should change’ he thought to himself.

But the life skill of poison makers is not only to concoct poison pill. He could even produce drugs that provide benefits to one body

Though thinking of the fact that it is poison, there must be some side effect.

There is also poisons that he could lather upon his weapons to create a poisonous weapon like the one used against him

But the most important thing about the poison maker life skill is that it would help him in the understanding of many medicine related profession as poison maker is just the other side of a healer and herbalist and physician.

While he did not like poisoning people, being a Physician in this current era is probably a very lucrative job and a job that is revered and respected.

From ancient times to modern times, who could not respect someone who saves life?
