The Craftsman is a manufacturing life skill that allows the host to craft all kinds of equipment that includes jewelry and certain equipment from all kinds of materials.

To learn the skill, the host has to purchase the Craftsman Letters to his Brother in the system store

To use the life skill, the host must have a hammer. Upon learning the skill, the practitioner will receive the title Craftsman Novice and can perform craftsman skills.

To craft an item one must have the necessary materials. The materials could be bought in the system store or manually found.

The host is recommended to find the materials by themselves.

The path to self-improvement is endless. The price of ingredients and other related items regarding the Craftsman Life Skill will depend on what other manufacturing life skill the host had already learned.

To raise the level of craftsman rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up or craft items that would satisfy the requirements of the system.

To level up ranks by using Quest please notify the system.

When one is crafting certain items and manages to craft it successfully or making an item that is out of expectation and functional, Life Skill points would be added to help the host

The harder the items that needs to be crafted and the more useful and functional it is to the host safety and improvement to host ability to improve, the more life skill the host would get. The Life Skill points given is adjusted accordingly to the host power level and host experience in crafting items

TIP: Crafting the same item over and over again might see a decrease in the Life Skill point that would be rewarded

While this skill enables him to craft all kinds of craft that even include jewelry, other than some wooden furniture that he put in his house like the rattan bed and the tables, most of the time Li Xin did not use this skill that much

As for the Craftsman Letters to his Brother it is simply the method of crafting. If Li Xin wanted he could craft beautiful furniture that could fetch a lot of money.

He could use wood and stone to craft things. Like the statue of a stone lion. But for something like jade or more difficult material, if LI Xin really wanted to craft such ingredients, he must first raise his Craftsman rank first.

He is also a blacksmith

Blacksmith [Artisan rank]

The Blacksmith is a manufacturing life skill that allows the host to create weapons. This would help the host to rely on oneself and the host would also be rewarded with strong body and strong arm strength by learning this Life Skill.

This would also help in strengthening one foundation in woodcutter life skill and nay other life skill that uses strength and stamina as the base.

To learn the skill, the host has to purchase the Gan Jiang Forging Heavenly Weapon Manual in the system store.

Upon learning the skill, the practitioner will receive the title Blacksmithing Novice and can create weapons.

To use the life skill, the host must have a Hammer called Fire Hammer in their backpack. It is a special hammer crafted by the system to quickly increase the host ability to create a weapon.

To create a weapon, the host must have the necessary materials and ingredients. The materials and ingredients could be bought in the system store or manually found.

The host is recommended to find the materials or the ingredients by themselves.

The path to self-improvement is endless. The price of ingredients and other related items regarding the Blacksmithing Life Skill will depend on what other manufacturing life skill the host had already learned.

To raise the level of blacksmithing rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up or craft items that would satisfy the requirements of the system.

When the host is creating a weapon and manages to use the blacksmithing life skill successfully or making a weapon that is out of expectation and functional, Life Skill points would be added to help the host

Li Xin also did not use blacksmithing skill that much. He usually finds it easier for him to just buy things from the system store.

‘But, I think I would have no problem making a living after going down the mountain’ he thought to himself.

Li Xin of course could not stay in this mountain all the time. There are more opportunities outside the mountain

But Li Xin is actually waiting for someone.

And then there is Herbalist which is also at Artisan rank.

Herbalist is a manufacturing life skill that that allows the host to create medicines and potions. This is a very useful skill to have in the treacherous world of Jianghu and a skill that is revered inside and outside of Wulin

The host could produce drugs that provide benefits to the body, create potions and concoct pills that could repel disease and cure illness

To learn the skill, the host has to purchase the Hua Tuo Secret manual and Herbalist Tools in the system store.

Upon learning the skill, the practitioner will receive the title Herbalist Novice and can concoct medicines and potions.

To use the life skill, the host must have an Herbalist Tools in their backpack.

To concoct or create medicines and potions, the host must have the necessary materials and ingredients. The materials and ingredients could be bought in the system store or manually found.

The host is recommended to find the materials or the ingredients by themselves.

The path to self-improvement is endless. The price of ingredients and other related items regarding the Herbalist Life Skill will depend on what other manufacturing life skill the host had already learned.

To raise the level of herbalist rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up or craft items that would satisfy the requirements of the system.

When the host is medicines and potions and manages to use the herbalist skill successfully or making a pill or potion that is out of expectation and functional, Life Skill points would be added to help the host

The more efficient and more potent the medicine that is created and more functional it is to the host safety and improvement to host ability to improve, the more life skill the host would get. The Life Skill points given is adjusted accordingly to the host power level and host experience in crafting items

TIP: Concocting and creating the same item over and over again might see a decrease in the Life Skill point that would be rewarded

Li Xin only concoct a few pills. The reason is simply because he did not gather enough ingredients and the other is because for the first few days he is still dazed.

And then after he completed quest there is no need for him to overdo it since completing quest would also give him a lot of pills and potions.

That is all of his Life Skill

He could of course cultivate other skill. He believes that this is something he had to uncover by himself.

As for the reason why he did not raise his life Skill past the Artisan rank is because each time he wanted to raise his Life Skill past Artisan rank, his heart would beat furiously. It was like his intuition is trying to tell him that something would happen the moment he ranks it up

The weakness of having a system that does not talk is that, there is a lot that he needs to discover by himself.

And that is not always good. When he thinks about it again, he believes that if breaks through to Artisan rank, maybe there is a qualitative change in the Life Skill.

It is something like a premonition. He did not know how to explain it.

Fortunately, Life Skill is not that urgent for him right now so he is satisfied in having his Life Skill all raise to Artisan rank.

At least, with these skills, even if he failed in becoming a powerful martial artist, he could still make a living in this world.

Though, he doubts that he could not become something great. It would be a humiliation if even with a system he still could not make something of himself.

‘At least I now have a more comprehensive understanding of my own skill. It is stupid of me in the past’ he complained to himself.

He could not help but sigh. When he thinks back of how he wastes his time, he wanted to smash his head on a tree

But he then thought of it another way.

It is better to get it out of his system. At least, it is early. If he were to face these feelings later, it might harm him greatly

‘Since I could not change what had happened, I could only make do with the cards that I am dealt with. And it is not like the card is that bad’ he thought to himself as he chuckles

When he thinks about it, he also has the system.

That alone is giving him an advantage. He took a deep breath and hold it for around thirty second and then exhale.

He circulated his breath.

He looks at his status window and below the Life Skill is the Other Skill. Today, he wanted to review all of his stats to make sure he truly understands his abilities

It is also to help him understand about himself and about the system. But he did not immediately check the Other Skill

He got up from his bed and decided that he needs to boil some water to make some tea. There is still a bit of Longjing tea in his wooden basket.

He now had a penchant for drinking tea. So he got up from the bed went out from the hut and prepare fire wood.

It did not take long for Li Xin to start a fire and boil water using a cauldron. He then went to the back yard.

One part of the back yard is filled with bushes while the other one is cleared. This is where Li Xin practices his sword.

If one looks at the ground, there is deep sword mark everywhere. It cut deep and the cut is clean

On the trees and on the ground, such sword mark could be seen everywhere.

Li Xin smiles as he waves his hand and the wind around his hand seems to be disturbed. 

There are also a few spots of the area where it is depressed and foot print that is etched deep into the ground.

Li Xin looks at it and then he sat on the rattan chair that he crafted. He is taking it easy as he closes his eyes and let the wind caress his face.

He then leans his body on the chair and rest.

Even though his body is not that tired, his mind is. Li Xin believes that there is a correlation with the system and his mind power or mental energy

He notices that there is something called mental energy by the description of the Life Skill. But unlike the other status of his body, it is not reflected in the system status.

He shakes his head and then he stops thinking about it. For this moment, he just wanted to rest his mind.

Li Xin lay down on that long chair for about fifteen minutes before he got up.

He then brews a cup of tea for himself and instead of going to his bed like before he went to the backyard.

He put down his cup of tea on the table on the backyard. The table itself is made from cedar wood and act like a repellent to bugs

He then picks up the cup of tea and slowly sipped it. For around half an hour he did nothing but relaxes his mind

‘I guess my mind is rested enough’ Li Xin mutters to himself. There is a reason why he takes such a long break.

As he reviews more and more information, he could feel dizziness is taking over him. He also felt his temple pulsates.

This is the reason why he believes that there is a correlation between mental energy and the system

Maybe, the longer he looks at the status window, the more he uses his mental energy. Since he got the system, he rarely looks at it this long.

It is a bit like the dizziness after looking at the computer screen for too long.

He did not go back into the hut and instead lay down on one of his lazy chair that he had made with his own hands.

He sat down on it and he is ready to resume back his review.

‘It is not long now’ he thought to himself. Right now, his mind focused on the status window and the moment he thought to himself that he wanted to see the system status, the system status popped out in front of his eyes

Li Xin only smiles as he looks at the Other Skill section.
