Xander And The Blaze

14...Guards...

Alec quietly counted the number of guards Kurt had called just for his necklace and shook his head in a jeering manner. 

"I can see up to four guards just for a necklace" Alec remarked.  

"That is to show you how I can easily get more than a person for anything I want" Kurt said with pride. 

"Kurt, stop this, it's madness" Jenny chipped already having a success in getting away from Kurt's hold.

"No, it's power, my love" Kurt said and chuckled wickedly. "And it's nice to have that power"

"You are misusing that power" Jenny spat out. 

One of the guards with funny eyebrows came forward boldly and made a move to drag Alec's necklace but Alec quickly bent his head backwards.

"Whoooo!" The crowd yelled dramatically.  

The guard tried again, but had no luck in getting the necklace. 

"Is it hard to get an ordinary necklace from an ordinary boy like him?" Kurt yelled, pointed to Alec with a frown. "Get his fucking necklace!"

Another guard came foward and brought his hand forward for a punch, unknowing to him, Alec who with the help of his sharp eyesight had seen the punch coming in slow motion. He quickly dodged it and grabbed the guard's arm to twist it backwards. The guard cried out in pains. 

"Arhhhh!" He screamed, now in greater pains "Please sir, release...."

He didn't finish his sentence when Alec released him and pushed him to the tiled floor. 

Another guy came foward, Alec fist shoot out quickly to knock him down with two swift punches on each sides of his head.  

From the corner of Alec's eyes, he saw the guy with the funny eyebrows bringing his fist close to his face, and at the same time, the red haired guard was also charging towards him.  Alec quickly did a backwards somersault which marvelled everyone at the party. 

"Woahhh!" The crowd exclaimed, their jaws dropping at how Alec was able to move with agility. 

"That's my guy!" Jeremy screamed excitedly and said to the girl beside him "That guy is my buddy"

The funny eyebrows guy still didn't give up, he came to Alec's front and intended to give a spinning kick. Alec's sharp eyesight helped him again to see the move. Alec quickly held the guard's foot mid air, then pushed him back, throwing him across the bar. 

"Whoaaaaa!" The crowd yelled again in surprise.

The red haired guard snarled at Alec and tried to get Alec's necklace but he didn't get the chance. He jumped on Alec and pulled down the necklace from his neck. Alec got chafed and threw him off his body. 

 

The red haired and Alec stood afront each other, ready to fight, with their fist shoot out and their expression Stern and unfriendly.  

Alec threw a punch which met the red haired on his hard shoulder. Alec felt like he had punched an iron instead of human's shoulder. The red haired smirked evilly while Alec was surprised at the type of body his opponent had.

Alec threw another punch but it had no effect on the red haired. His body was as hard as steel. If Alec wasn't a superhuman, his hand would have been broken.

"I hate this ginger guard" Jeremy mumbled to himself. 

Alec stared at the red haired intently, wondering if he is a superhuman with an iron body like the iron guy locked in the cell at the HEP centre or there is more about his body he doesn't know about.  

"Xander" Alec called quietly and slowly. The system beeped. 

"Tell me about this guy" Alec whispered with a slow tone, watching the guard with intent eyes. 

The red haired came forward for a punch but Alec dodged it, another punch came towards his face but Alec was very fast in dodging it since he could see the attacks before they affect him. 

Alec noticed the red haired was fast in throwing attacks but Alec had an advantage of getting to see the attack before they land on him. 

"Xander, what kinda superhuman is this guy?" Alec asked in a hiss. 

"He is not a superhuman" Xander replied making Alec frown in confusion. 

"Then why are his arms so strong?" Alec questioned.

"They are strong because they are artificial" 

Alec narrowed his eyes at the red haired arms. "What do you mean?"

"His arms are bionic"

Alec widened his eyes as realization dawned on him. He looked up and his eyes met with Jeremy's eyes who gave him a sign to activate the earbud in his ear. Alec totally forgot about the earbud until Jeremy reminded him. He pressed a finger on it and it activated immediately. 

"Are you dealing with another superhuman?" Jeremy asked curiously. 

"Nope. I'm dealing with a guard with bionic arms" Alec replied. 

"That's surprising" Jeremy said and exhaled. 

"I have an idea though" Heidi spoke up while Alec listened attentively despite trying to dodge attack from the red haired. 

"Since you do get heated, why don't you try to control that heat and get it transferred to this red haired" Heidi suggested.

 

"Yeah, I agree with Heidi, you can take him down by heating him up" Jeremy said.

"I've gotta try" Alec mumbled. 

The red haired stood in karate position, Alec grabbed his hands and noticed one was hard while the other was soft. It means one of his hands is in its soft, natural form and not covered with the hard, artificial mechanics. 

Alec smirked mischievously and squeezed his natural hand tightly, twisting and passing heat to his skin in the process which caused a scream of agony from him. Alec then clenched his heated hand into a tight fist to give a hard punch to the red haired's face afterwards. 

The red haired's face got covered in blood and due to the heavy punch he received.  

Alec looked up and his eyes met with Kurt. 

"My necklace" he demanded calmly, but Kurt being the proud guy he is wasn't willing to be the laughing stock at his own party.

 

Kurt scoffed "What the fuck are you...."

Alec smacked him twice and swift across his face. Kurt's head banged like there was a big bell ringing loudly in his head.  The necklace fell from his hand to the ground. 

"Wow, your necklace is expensive!" A guy said assessing the necklace on the ground. 

"Yes!" Another guy supported. 

"This guy is rich!" A girl said with her high pitched voice, eyeing the necklace. 

"And he's handsome!" another girl gushed to her friends. 

"And hot" A slim girl added "Look at the way he beat up the guys all on jis own"

A girl in Alec's Biology class pouted "I want a boyfriend like him" 

Alec glanced at his necklace on the ground and then at Jenny who was staring curiously at him wondering what type of person he is. 

Alec walked up to her and asked with a concerned voice "Are you okay?" 

She nodded, still not taking her intent gaze off him. 

Alec's eyes went down her arm to inspect it for any signs of injury that may be caused from Kurt's tight hold. He stretched his arm forward and his fingers which are still heated made contact with her skin. She flinched back a bit, surprised.

"Your hands are very warm" she said softly "They are kind of.... hot"

Alec quickly withdrew his hands to place at his side "Sorry" 

He never knew the temperature of his hands would remain high even after few minutes of fighting. He looked away from Jenny and glanced at the others at the party. Alec saw the look on their faces. He has never received that type of look in his entire life, it showed repect. They are all staring at him with respect.
