Alec sat with his dad in the living room, eating a slice of pizza, and no matter how hard he tried to shake off the feeling of being watched, it just wouldn't go away. The loud bang on the roof seemed to hold some meaning, and of course, someone had entered his room. The image of the ball with the mysterious word inscribed on it kept playing on repeat in his head.

Alec's dad could sense that something was off and his concern was written all over his face. He asked with a worried expression, "Alec, are you okay?"
