“Why have you been ignoring my calls?” Kelanie hissed into the phone.

Philip Russell released a long sigh, he had thought that the distance he had put between them would save him from her troubles.

“I’ve been busy,” Philip Russell said, with a bored tone.

“How are you coming along with the board meeting?” Kelanie asked eagerly, she had waited all week for his feedback and had gotten nothing.
