Chapter 1975
Author: Blanco Burn
The Seventh Elder spoke with confidence.

"Understood."

Lionel quickly ordered his secretary to contact the heads of various pharmaceutical companies and instructed them to meet the Seventh Elder at Skyvilla Pavilion.

Just then, an emergency news broadcast interrupted the TV show playing in the room. The announcement came from Serena Group, explicitly naming Healers Valley's Seventh Elder and demanding that he come to their headquarters within two days to kneel and apologize.

The Seventh Elder spat out the tea he had just sipped, his face turning an ugly shade of purple. He threw his teacup furiously at the television.

The TV screen cracked, sending out a puff of black smoke.

Behind him, three young men clenched their jaws, bristling with anger. "Seventh Elder, Serena is already at death's door, and yet she still dares to act so arrogantly. Let us go teach her a lesson."

The Seventh Elder turned his sharp gaze on them, and the three young men, recognizing his displeasure, quickly

Not long after, Lionel and a group of pharmaceutical company CEOs stormed to Regal Summit."Xayne, Serena, why don't you get up and give your seats to the Seventh Elder? Your company is on the verge of bankruptcy. Do you think you deserve to sit in such a prime spot?" Lionel shouted angrily, pointing a finger right at Xayne and Serena."Exactly. You better start groveling now. Once United Med signs their contract with Healers Valley, your company will be finished," several CEOs chimed in, backing Lionel.Serena, however, remained unfazed. She lifted her gaze slightly, her expression cold and relentless. "Why should I give up a seat that I rightfully reserved?" she retorted defiantly."You wretched woman. How dare you talk back to me. I'll teach you a lesson." Lionel growled through gritted teeth as he stormed forward. He raised his hand, intending to slap Serena hard across the face.A crisp, echoing sound reverberated through the hall. Lionel staggered to the side, nearly tumblin

Xayne and his family carried on their conversation as if the dozens of pharmaceutical company CEOs around them didn't exist."Are we being ignored?"A few of the top-ranking CEOs in Folksworth stepped forward, yelling angrily, "You’ll pay for what you did today."Xayne glanced at them coldly. "Oh? And which company are you from?" he asked."ProHealth Pharmaceuticals." The CEO puffed out his chest proudly."Good," Xayne replied calmly. "In three days, ProHealth Pharmaceuticals will cease to exist in the industry.""You…" The man was furious.Xayne raised his hand slightly, dismissing the man without even sparing him another glance. Turning to the waiter, he said, "Just serve the dishes I ordered earlier.""Yes, sir." The waiter bowed and left with the menu.Recalling how Lionel had rolled to the door earlier, the other CEOs thought twice about pushing their luck. After a few huffs and grumbles, they grudgingly sat down near Dewdrop Platform, fuming but keeping their distance.

Xayne's words were clear. By tomorrow morning, if the Seventh Elder didn't kneel and apologize at Serena Group headquarters, the consequences would be severe."Xayne, do you think you're still the King of the North? How dare you demand the Seventh Elder to kneel and apologize in front of Serena Group's office? What a joke. Let me tell you, in two days, Serena…" Lionel, in his anger, almost blurted out Healers Valley's secret meeting decisions. The Seventh Elder shot him a glare, and Lionel quickly realized his mistake. He swallowed his words, sitting back down with a nervous gulp.Xayne continued calmly, "If you're not there tomorrow morning, then you'll have to gather all the media in Folksworth and apologize in front of them instead. Foolishness in old age harms Healers Valley."With that, Xayne, carrying Coco in one arm and holding Serena's hand with the other, strode out of Skyvilla Pavilion."Xayne!" The Seventh Elder was so furious he nearly overturned the table. It took him

Though the Seventh Elder was a member of Healers Valley, his status was still too low. For such an important matter, at least the Grand Elder should have been sent. After finishing his last drink, the Seventh Elder solemnly sent an inquiry to Healers Valley but the response only deepened his unease. United Med hadn't informed anyone from Healers Valley about the signing. He wondered if it could be that Layce knew he was in Folksworth. Perhaps he thought the Seventh Elder could represent the Healers Valley. These foreigners were reckless in their dealings. For something so significant, they should at least have notified Healers Valley. The next morning, Serena stood before her wardrobe, changing into a white business suit. After adjusting her look in the mirror, she turned and saw Xayne just finishing up his grooming."Honey, do you think this outfit looks better, or should I go with the black one?" She still seemed uncertain about her attire, especially since she was about to mee

"Cannot sign?"Layce and his foreign secretary were taken aback. The conditions they offered Serena Group were not just generous, they were nothing short of astonishing. If other pharmaceutical companies saw this contract, they would surely be envious. Yet, Serena had refused. They didn't know how to explain after they went back."Ms. Serena, is there something wrong with the agreement we provided? If you have any requirements, feel free to mention them," Layce said, putting on a smiling face and trying to appease her.Xayne was also puzzled, looking at Serena. He knew the contents of the agreement without needing to see it. Serena had no reason to refuse."The terms you offered are very generous. I can't find any fault with them. But because the terms are so favorable, I don't want to sign," Serena said, biting her lip.Seeing such good conditions, Serena couldn't help but think back to a previous experience where similarly generous terms almost led her into a trap. "Alright, I agree to share the formula with your company."Seeing Serena nod in agreement, Layce stood up excitedly and shook her hand vigorously. "Thank you so much. Ms. Serena, you are the sincerest friend of United Med."Layce's secretary quickly grabbed a laptop, inputting the terms they just discussed into the contract, then printed a new copy to hand to Serena."What do you think, honey?" Serena turned to Xayne."I think it's a good deal, and the terms are indeed favorable." Xayne smiled.Reassured by Xayne's support, Serena picked up her pen and signed the contract, sealing it with the company stamp before handing it to Layce."Ms. Serena, here's to our swift cooperation." Layce stood, shaking her hand formally. As they prepared to leave, he reminded Serena not to forget the signing ceremony at the Pharmaceutical Association at 3 P.M.This ceremony was essentially an announcement to the pharmaceutical industry in Drakonia that United Med had found its sole partner. Layce maintained a calm expression as he shook hands with the Seventh Elder, deliberately creating distance between them. With a smile, he said, "Hello, long time no see. You're looking as strong as ever.""It's all thanks to you. But why is this signing ceremony so sudden?" Seventh Elder asked, bowing slightly in a show of respect.Layce's demeanor shifted as he frowned. "What's wrong? Does United Med's decision require approval from Healers Valley?"The Seventh Elder quickly shook his head. "No, that's not what I meant.""Then, I need to get going." Layce gestured toward the main stage, politely nodded to the Seventh Elder, and strode forward."Look at that, it's clear that people from Healers Valley are well acquainted with United Med's representatives.""If not, why would Seventh Elder be so confident?""Lucky we severed ties with Serena Group early on. Otherwise, we'd be in a bad spot."Several executives from pharmaceutical companies that had previously collaborated with

Ken, the CEO of Big Vita Pharmaceuticals, stood with his arms crossed, a smug look on his face. He was one of the first to cut ties with Serena Group, now eagerly trying to ingratiate himself with the Seventh Elder, especially as the signing with Healers Valley and United Med approached."Your company name suits your character well." Xayne shot back with a cold smile."And you're trash," Ken spat angrily, causing several reporters to chuckle at the exchange. Xayne's comment about the fitting names struck a chord."Xayne, you have five minutes until the signing ceremony begins. Here's your last chance, kneel and apologize to me. If I'm in a good mood, I might let you keep half of your market share," the Seventh Elder proclaimed, striding out from the crowd with an air of superiority."Even if our company were to collapse, you won't make my husband apologize. You only know how to bully others. Why should we give you half our market share?" Serena countered defiantly, repeating the t

In the end, anyone who craves that treasure will lose their life to greed. That is the cycle of the world." Horin gazed into the distance with a calm expression. He had not been avoiding conflict—he had been biding his time, accumulating power. Xayne could sense it in his eyes. There was ambition there. Every move Horin made served his ultimate goal. Even forging a connection with Xayne had been a calculated step to expand his influence.Xayne was a lone warrior, with no faction backing him. From Horin's perspective, all he had to do was lend Xayne a hand, earn his gratitude, and that was enough. That was why Horin had treated him so favorably. He had even shared some of his own insights, sharpening Xayne’s mindset, strengthening his abilities. Someday, Xayne might become one of his strongest ass

Xander sized up Fent and spoke coldly. "Fent, will you not turn back from your misguided path?"Fent struggled to his feet, his glare filled with hostility. He spat on the ground and growled, "I will never stand on the same side as Xayne! And you, mark my words—when I return from this mountain, it will be the day of your demise. Just you wait!" With that, he dragged his battered body away, limping down the mountain path without looking back. Stringer and Yeti flanked him, offering their support as he leaned on them for balance. At the Heavenly Water Sanctuary, to the east, a towering waterfall crashed down in torrents. To the west, a quiet river snaked through the valley, its current slow and steady. At the river’s heart lay a tranquil pool, its surface untouched by the world beyond.A hundred feet above the gorge, nestled into the cliffside, a cave overlooked the breathtaking scenery. The air was crisp and pure, carrying the scent of fresh earth and mountain blossoms."Senior, this p

Fent did not dare utter a single word of protest. Clutching his chest, he trembled as he knelt before Horin."How is your teacher?" Horin turned slightly, directing his question to Yeti."It has been a hundred years since I last saw him. I do not know," Yeti replied with the utmost reverence.Horin suddenly shifted his gaze to Xayne. "The secret of the Nine Luminaries of the Heavenly Stars… lies like the self—no thoughts, no desires, no life, no death! It does not rely on the power of the stars! The world follows the Path of Veyara, but what is the Path of Veyara? The radiance of the stars is not true light." His words were spoken softly as if he were merely muttering to himself—or perhaps offering Xayne a lesson.Xayne's heart stirred. Horin’s insight was astounding. The eight words—"No thoughts, no desires, no life, no death."—lingered in his mind. They placed Horin far beyond the comprehension of ordinary cultivators."Magnetic fields… are simply the pull of the stars. They have al

"Do you yield?" Horin gazed at Xayne with a calm, indifferent expression.Fent and the others broke out in a cold sweat. Just a single finger—that was all it took. It proved that Horin’s power was unfathomable. Standing before him, they felt no different from mere ants. But what was even stranger was the complete absence of dominance around Horin. No oppressive force. No overwhelming presence. It was as if he, the heavens, the earth—everything—were one. His arrival, and that single finger strike, felt less like an act of man and more like the will of the universe itself.Xayne was beyond shocked. But he was not the only one. Andrea, watching the live broadcast, sat in stunned silence. He could hardly believe what he had just witnessed. Because the one who had been defeated—was Xayne.'Then what realm had this man reached? Quad-Radiant Commander? Rising Numen Commander? Or had he already ascended to Numen Commander?' The mere thought sent shivers down Andrea’s spine. The Light Order’s

  • Chapter 2686

Xayne’s comprehension must have been immense—not only to counter Fent’s attack but to transform it into his own. Fent would have easily blocked this spear had he not taken that devastating palm strike. But now, his entire right side was caved in. One arm hung limply, the other completely empty. No sword, no weapon, not even a sliver of metal remained to block Xayne’s spear. It was no different from trying to catch a nuclear warhead.Yet, Fent had no choice. His retreat had already been cut off. If he turned his back, he would only meet a deadly stab from behind—a certain death sentence."If I die—then I'll drag you down with me!" Fent’s face twisted in fury. With only one thought in his mind, he lunged toward Xayne. He would deliver a lethal palm strike, even if it meant taking Xayne’s spear head-on."Master, he's going for mutual destruction!" From a distance, Esmond saw Fent shooting forward and cried out in alarm. But Xayne had already seen through him. And now, there was no turning

  • Chapter 2685

Xayne appeared to be at his limit, yet in truth, he was far from it. From the Heavenly Tome, he had already mastered the Seven-Star Footwork to perfection. With the slightest lift of his feet, his positioning shifted unpredictably.Three consecutive strikes from Fent were missed completely. The sheer force of the sword energy alone shattered the nearby trees into splinters.Xayne lunged forward, spear in hand, as a formation flared to life around him. In an instant, multiple spear projections erupted outward, each infused with lethal intent, hurtling toward Fent from every angle."Not good! Fall back quickly!" Elder Stringer suddenly shouted toward Fent. But at that very moment, just as the spears were about to pierce into Fent's body, a faint smile appeared at the corner of Fent's lips. It went exactly as he had planned. From the very start, his attacks had merely been probing. Through those exchanges, Fent had already figured out that Xayne's strength was high, but his battle exp

  • Chapter 2684

Just as Fent unleashed his full-force attack, far away in the Skyveria Cave Heaven within Nindragon Mountain, a young man with long hair slowly rose from a white lotus platform. He turned to the elderly figure beside him and murmured, "Fent of White Blossom Mountain?" The elderly figure was none other than Xander. Xander frowned slightly and said, "Your Excellency, in truth, the moment Killian's descendant was attacked days ago, forces from outer battlegrounds had already begun their plans. This time, they've dispatched eleven Radiant Commanders just to erase the last glimmer of hope for Drakonia. If Xayne dies, the three Dragon Hearts will be masterless, and the Ruins of Dragon Clan will never be opened again!" Xander spoke with no emotion as if merely stating an unrelated fact. Upon hearing this, Horin Tamie, the Creator of Light Order, turned his gaze toward Xayne's distant battlefield before suddenly tilting his head back and laughing. "Xander, are you truly not worried about

Xayne let out a sudden roar, and his Scarlet Dragon Lance erupted with a dazzling radiance. The void within hundreds of meters shuddered violently, while the earth beneath them cracked open with deep fissures. At this moment, the sky seemed on the verge of being torn apart by the overwhelming force. Xayne's aura surged to its absolute peak. "Elder Stringer! Hurry! You and I must join forces to kill him! He's burning his life force, he can't last much longer! Just hold out a little longer, and he will surely perish!" Fent roared at Elder Stringer. But there was no need for Fent to say anything; Elder Stringer and Yeti could already feel it. Xayne was igniting his very soul. Elder Stringer unleashed his full strength at that instant, his sword slashing toward Xayne with killing intent. They needed just five more minutes. Xayne's aura would surely weaken, and when that moment came, it would be the end of him. "Hold out? Do you think you have a chance to kill me?" Xayne let out a c

  • Chapter 2682

After the relentless battles, Xayne was clearly at his limit. Fent refused to believe that Xayne could still put up a fight. He could distinctly sense Xayne's aura weakening. As the saying goes, "Strike while the iron is hot." With a sudden tremor of his body, Fent flicked his wrist, and the sword he had tossed aside earlier shot back into his grasp. With a single thrust, his blade erupted with a dazzling silver radiance, peerless sword energy piercing straight into the sky. Fent wasn't regarded as the peak combatant among the eleven just because of his raw power. It was because he wielded a lost secret formation from White Blossom Mountain, the "Nine Luminaries of the Heavenly Stars."Strictly speaking, this formation surpassed conventional formations. It was a forbidden secret formation. It is not an exaggeration to describe it as a peerless heavenly skill. The origins of the Nine Luminaries of the Heavenly Stars could be traced back to the first ancestor of White Blossom Mounta
