CHAPTER 60

Emily, Leon, and Sarah decided to follow the man. They let him lead the way outside the cottage although they don’t know where he is planning to take them.

Having trust in the man, hoping he wouldn’t take them to a dangerous place, Emily held the little girl’s hand while Leon checked on them from time to time.

He knows that it was not an easy decision to trust a stranger but Emily was just trying to hold on to this tiny hope she has that everything will fall into place anytime soon.

Meanwhile, just a little distance from the cottage there was a curtain of vines. Leon noticed that they had followed the same path out of the house today, that he had tried to explore.

“Strange, when I went out of the cottage before, I didn’t see this place like his. Are we going on the right path?” asked Leon with a confused face.
