Due to Mephisto and Leonidas carrying the carriage, they arrived at the Wall of Neserus rather quickly. There Wall of Neserus was a giant, golden gate that stopped people from entering and exiting way before they got to the actual Kingdom. This giant gate was thirty miles away from the cluster of cities that King Musa and his people lived in, and was heavily guarded on each side. Once the guards saw that another king, Leonidas, was pulling the carriage. They quickly opened the gate and greeted him.
"Nice to meet you, King." they stated as they bowed at his feet.
"Thanks for the gesture, but such isn't needed with me." Leonidas replied.
"I don't mean to disrespect you, but what is a King like yourself doing pulling a carriage. Samor and Mona would have gladly done it in your place."
"Since one of my young knights mistakingly attacked Mona and the carriage, I figured it was only right. But, how far is King Musa from here? I wanted to give him my apologies specifically as well."
"His castle is in the middle of the three cities. All you have to do is follow the golden path."
"King Leonidas, are you sure you want to continue pulling this carriage. We could easily have you escorted at once.?"
"Thanks for the offer, but I must decline. However, if you could inform King Musa of my arrival, it would be appreciated very much."
"It will be done immediately, King."
Leonidas and Mephistopheles continued pulling the carriage on the golden path that led to Musa's castle. In the Kingdom of Neserus, all of the streets in the cities were gold. Each building was made with the finest materials possible and every citizen had the attire that matched the status of upper-class wealth. Musa devoted his life to building wealth and once he became king, he spread it amongst people who wouldn't have been able to obtain it otherwise. Leonidas was once one of those people, and he used the experience to create his own regiment of how his people were treated when he became king. He could never match Musa's wealth, but he could match his selflessness and generosity. Eventually, the carriage carried by Mephisto and Leonidas met the end of the golden path, which soon became connected to a long flight of golden stairs. It led directly Musa's castle where the King awaited them at the very top.
"King Leonidas!" Musa announced with a grand smile as he look down upon them.
"It's been awhile since the last time I was blessed with your presence, King." Leonidas stated as he quickly kneeled at the bottom of the stairs.
Mephisto quickly did the same, and as Mona and the others got out of the carriage, they did the same as well.
"I'm sure you've been told, but my young pawn Mephistopheles made quite the mistake earlier." Leonidas stated as he began ascending the stairs.
"Yes, but to my understanding it wasn't something you ordered. And Mona was able to restrain him before any serious damage was done. So, we're still in good spirits."
Leonidas glanced at Mephisto.
"Thanks for your understanding and mercy, King." Mephisto said after bowing once again.
"Don't worry, young Mephisto. I know your heart was in the right place. Anyone who is close to King Leonidas should have a heart full of righteousness."
"There's another matter I wanted to discuss with you, King." Leonidas stated. "The tension that has been rising lately due to the Black Dahlia emerging from your Kingdom may escalate at any time. And due to the Kingdom of Neserus always being on great financial aid to my own, it is my duty to pledge my loyalty."
Leonidas withdrew a small blade and made a slight cut in the palm of one of his hands.
"In the case of war between Neserus and any other Kingdom, King Leonidas and the 300 of Spartania will be under your command. If you fight, we will fight with you."
The Kingdom of Spartania was easily the smallest of all the Kingdoms. Aside from King Leonidas, the Kingdom was home to only three hundred people total. However, unlike the rest of the kingdoms, every person who was a citizen of Spartania was trained for combat. Every single citizen has the same amount of training a junior knight would, and some have even more.
On the outside, his face remained calm. But on the inside, Musa grew the slightest smirk possible.
"This is amazing." Musa thought. "Not only do I have the power of the Black Dahlia, but I also have King Leonidas' 300. The Kingdom of Namunda won't be able to combat both of those forces together."
"I am honored to have your forces under my command, King." Musa stated as he took the small blade from Leonidas.
He then cut the palm of his hand just as Leonidas did.
"I can promise that the 300 of Spartania will have greater financial assistance than ever before."
The two stuck their blood dripping hands out and shook in unity.
"I do have one special request, My King." Leonidas continued as he glanced at Yasuke.
"Yes, what do you have in mind?"
"If he truly has the power of the Black Dahlia, he will be much stronger than anyone from Spartania. But, under my tutelage, he can become a strong warrior with the right morals and ethics." Leonidas stated. "Please, allow him to train in Spartania, even if just a little."
"No."
"No?" Mona thought. "There's no way King Musa would deny training from Leonidas."
"No, He should not train in Spartania...unless he is to train there indefinitely." Musa declared with a smile. "Thanks to Eradius, Yasuke has been introduced to the basics. I'm sure you'll be able to assess his knowledge and continue where he left off pretty quickly."
"So I can't train with Eradius anymore?" Yasuke asked.
"Sure you can." Leonidas stated. "In fact, he's going to be coming to Spartania with you."
"I am?" Eradius asked in bewilderment.
"It would be best for Yasuke, which is all I seek to gain here." Leonidas announced. "I have some preparations to make, but once they're ready, I'll return and escort Eradius and Yasuke to Spartania myself."
"To think King Musa has acquired the command of Leonidas' forces and he will train Yasuke personally." Mona thought. "Any chances the Kingdom of Namunda had before has been terminated in the matter of a few minutes."
After King Leonidas promised his forces under King Musa's command, he was escorted out of Neserus and went back to Spartania. The two had agreed that within merely thirty days, Yasuke and Eradius would be escorted to the Kingdom of Spartania to train. Once there, be would train for six years before returning to Neserus and enlisting in Musa's Order. While King Musa and his subordinates readied Yasuke and Eradius for King Leonidas' training, Leonidas was getting his entire Kingdom ready for the arrival of the Black Dahlia. His knights were just finishing their sparring sessions, and Leonidas planned to explain the situation to those who were unaware."If you guys didn't know already, I made a pledge to King Musa." Leonidas stated. "There's a possibility that the Kingdom of Namunda and the Kingdom of Neserus will be at war soon. If that does come to pass, our forces will assist them." "King Namunda is being led by the former Prince Nobunaga, correct?" one of the young knights asked. "
King Nobunaga the Second was sitting comfortably on his new throne. Humming his favorite tune cheerfully as he watched his underling enter the room. "You forgot to knock." He spoke. "My apologies, but I received urgent news about Yasuke. I knew you would appreciate the information regardless." His underling replied. "Is that right? Well tell me what it is, Botaro." "King Nobunaga, I received confirmation that Yasuke is heading to Spartania." "SPARTANIA?" Nobunaga stated as he sprung up in his seat, nearly falling over. "Yes, my king. King Musa has allowed for King Leonidas to train Yasuke." In many eyes, Nobunaga was an immature teenager who was self centered and arrogant. Everytime he was spoke of, it was about how his big ego prevents him from bettering his skill. However, there wasn't a single person that considered him foolish. He was very cunning and a quick strategical thinker. He could be given a scenario and determine the most probable of all the outcomes. He knew in th
After showing King Musa the vision Yasuke had, Samor was given permission to deal with the attack her way. Her plan was to eliminate the threat before it even presented itself, so she sent two trustworthy warriors to intercept the invading squad of Nobunaga's knights. With Amadia in front, the team of knights were hovering in the air towards The Kingdom of Neserus. Randomly, she used the mending cloak to conceal her presence and vanished. "What?""Where did Amadia go?" The rest of the knights were confused as to why this happened until they looked down to the ground and seen two unfamiliar warriors there. They both wore a red and silver cuirass and pteruges armor set with the same exact scar as Mephisto and Leonidas. "That looks like Spartania garments." Botaro thought. "Could they have known or is this a random encounter?" The two Spartans looked up towards the Knights and equipped their long swords. "There's no way we can make this a simple mission if we have to fight two Sparta
"Purple Thunder, Mobile Gunner Smash!" Domitia chi formed a construct that was the shape of a cloud. It completely covered the area with a fifty foot reach. His chi also formed around his feet all the way up to his hip and around his hands all the way up to his shoulders. "I see why his final technique took so long to charge up." Amadia thought. "This energy is tremendous." "Before I begin" Domitia stated. "I just want to thank you for granting me the time it takes to prepare this technique. As a form a gratitude, I promise I will not harm you anymore than I need to." "You don't need to thank me." Amadia replied. "But, I appreciate your modesty. As my form of gratitude, I'll make it look as if I ran away rather than me just beating you. I know your superiors will scold you for failing." "I hope you're ready..." Domitia declared. "Because here I come!" Domitia rushed forwards and was almost instantly in striking range of Amadia. "He's taking this serious..!" Amadia thought as sh
With the intercepting style, one of the three basic combat kata, chi users are able to sense other chi users with their own chi. Amadia's terra grid took full advantage of this and even added another level to the technique. First, she would spread her chi throughout the ground so that she could sense any movement or actions in her vicinity. Then, she added the high level skill known as the matter warp to manipulate those movements and actions. In other words, any movement or action Domitia made would be manipulated and altered by Amadia. After remembering a few informational quotes from his seniors, Domitia realized this and tried his best to devise an appropriate counter for it. "Purple Thunder!" Domitia stated as he built his purple aura. "Triple Grand Smash!" Domitia created three clones from his purple aura that leaped into the air and came down, crashing into the ground. After endless pieces of the ground flew up due to the impact, Domitia sent all of the scattered debris flying
"It seems we have a few Spartans tailing us." Botaro stated as he used intercepting style. "I can tell that they are substantially more powerful than the average knight. I believe they are both bishops."Botaro was leading the rest of the squad of knights he and Amadia were leading on this mission. At this point in time, they travelled way closer to the Kingdom of Neserus than they were before. However, they still had a couple ways to go. "If we allow them to follow us into Neserus, we'll have to deal with them and all of King Musa's Order. If we stop and confront them now, we probably won't be able to complete our mission." Botaro stated. "Unless Amadia somehow joins us within the next few minutes, our chances of completing the mission are extremely low." "What should we do?" a female knight asked. "In a time where the odds are stacked against you, it's best to assess one single strategy to fully commit to." one of the other knights replied. "Now is not the time, Gozu." The femal
Perseus unleashed a severe wave of chi as he built his blue aura. "Deep Blue!" Botaro and the others tried to build their auras as well until they started to feel a certain pressure. This pressure caused breathing to be abnormally difficult and it began to make it abnormally difficult to move. "You won't last more than three minutes in this state." Perseus explained. "My Deep Blue allows me to emulate the pressure you would feel deep down into the ocean. I've just started at the maximum depth recommended for humans, but little by little, the pressure will increase until you feel as if you're at the bottom of the ocean.""How did he even manage to make his chi this potent?" Kaji uttered as they were all soon forced to the ground. "I can't move at all." "I created this technique in honor of my late father, Poseidon." Perseus replied. "His chi is amongst the most potent I've ever felt, even more potent than the King himself, and he loved water. Before I could train with him, I had to
After building his aura, Gozu's chi formed a small book that continued to hover on the left side of him. "Gozu is really taking this battle serious...he plans on using his God's Hand from the beginning" Nala thought. After seeing this, Perseus noticed something about the book. It was radiating it's own chi that felt completely different than Gozu's. "I can tell he's not joking around." Perseus thought. "It would be wise to do the same." "To be able to show you that I'm far from weak, I had to start this fight off with my strongest technique." Gozu explained. "So go ahead." Perseus stated as he entered his battle stance. "Show me what you're made of."The Spartan's fighting style was taught to be as evenly offensive and defensive as possible. They always carried sufficient armor, a sturdy shield, and a sword or spear. Their famous battle stance could be identified by the positioning of these weapons and armor. The proper stance begins with their non-dominant foot leading with thei
