Chapter 3 Revenge

Lawrence POV

My name was Lawrence Willow, the Alpha of the werewolves.

Since I was a child, I had been dependent on my sister Stella, who was also an Alpha. But unfortunately, Stella fell in love with a Beta. The man's name was Logan, and he was a betrayer.

I only learned about Logan and Eleanor at that time. Logan had another woman outside and forced Stella to divorce, making my sister feel pain. To teach Logan and that woman a lesson, I came to the company where they worked and taught that woman a lesson.

But something was really weird-Why did I smell the scent of my mate on her body? I clearly heard that she said she's a human. And from her strength, I made sure that she couldn't be a werewolf. Because of that scent, I couldn't help being close and touching her. What happened between us?

When I was about to leave, I smelled my sister's scent. So, I returned to Logan's company and saw my sister enter his office.

Her face was covered with tears, and her hair was messy. She should have had a conflict with someone before that.

She searched everything in the office like a detective. Finally, she saw the picture on Logan's desk, but it was a photo of Logan and Eleanor. The two people in the picture were standing under the Christmas tree, wearing lovers' clothes, and laughing happily.

It was evident that this happiness hurt Stella so much. Stella picked up the photo and threw it to the ground.

The glass fragments of the photo frame were scattered. Felt that it was not enough, she raised her feet as if to vent her anger and stepped on the photo. Soon, it was crushed into the waste paper by her.

Stella fell to the ground and began to cry. That scene made me heartbroken. I had sworn that I wouldn't let my sister get hurt from childhood, and I thought we would be together forever until that Beta appeared.

I still remember when Stella brought Logan home for the first time. She said it was her boyfriend and they were going to get married because Logan would give her happiness.

But it turned out that Logan was an unreliable man. He hurt Stella, betrayed their marriage, and wanted to be with other women. And no matter how I stopped and persuaded before, she wouldn't listen to me.

I walked into the office and shouted to her, "Stella?"

Stella looked up and saw me standing at the door. She stopped crying for a while.

I came over and squatted on the ground and hugged her. "Stella, why are you here? It would help if you hadn't come here to find him. I've taught that woman a lesson for you. Logan is an unreliable man. You should let him go."

Stella shook her head. "No, Logan is just temporarily tempted by that woman. I believe he loves me most." Her eyes were filled with anger and despair, "It is because of that woman. As long as that woman disappears, Logan will love me again. I can't live without him, you know that truth, right? You'll help me, won't you? Please help me find Logan and bring him back to me."

It made me feel more painful and angrier to see Stella so stubborn. I closed my eyes to control my emotion and said to her, "Wake up! That man didn't love you from the beginning. He was just a Beta. He had to marry you because he couldn't disobey us. Stella, that's not love. Don't you understand? You're an Alpha. You should find a stronger Alpha too."

I held Stella's face in my hands.

She gave me a completely different feeling from the woman named Eleanor. From the beginning, Stella was my sister and my only one. I had vowed to protect her happiness with my life.

As for that woman, I thought it was a spontaneous impulse. I admitted that it made me crazy when I approached Eleanor. But that was not love. The only person who got my affection was Stella.

Stella looked up at me with red and swollen eyes full of tears.

I began to bow my head and comforted Stella gently, entirely unlike the brutal and cruel way I treated Eleanor in the basement. "Stella, that despicable Beta doesn't deserve you at all. Why can't you separate from him and... and find your true love?" What I didn't speak up was that I wanted her true love was me. Maybe I should bury this secret in my heart forever.

I hoped Stella could accept Logan's true face. And if she were willing to look back, I would give her happiness... as her brother. But Stella pushed me away and began to cry.

Her cry broke my heart. I wanted to hug Stella again, but she pushed me away. Stella shook her head and said, "I won't give up. I must get Logan back!" Stella begged me, "You'll help me, won't you?"

Desperate, I stood up and said, "Stella, I'd rather you figure it out and leave Logan as soon as possible."

I went downstairs and walked out of the gate of the company. When I came to the intersection near the company, I felt Eleanor's breath. Was the woman named Eleanor back? She would meet Stella!
