CHAPTER FIFTY FOUR.

“My baby” Emily’s voice filtered into his ears again and tears welled up In his eyes. For close to how many years this was the first time he was hearing her voice. The emotions came busting out and he didn’t even know what he was supposed to say to her.

“Are you okay Nicholas?” She asked again.

“Where are you mum?I will come and get you and where is dad?” He asked like a dotting son. Hearing his mother’s voice made him feel at ease and he really wanted to see her.

“I don’t know where we are baby” his mum answered sincerely. He could feel pain and sadness from her voice and his heart broke, his parents were suffering when he had all the money in the world.

“You know what?I will get you out of there, I promise….”

He was still talking when the red light stopped showing on the screen.
