CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR.

The soft rap on the door made Mrs Benson jolt. She was in her living room cutting some vegetables when she heard her door creak open a little but no one entered.

Shrugging, she continued on her vegetables unaware of the silhouette that was lurking in the shadows.

Walking carefully, caesar came to stand behind her. He had a sharp knife in his hand and on his face was a mask.

“Hello Mrs Benson” came his sinister voice from the back and out of fear she threw the bowl of vegetables on the floor as she quickly turned to the voice. Her face turned pale as she saw the person standing behind her.

“Who are you?” She managed to ask but instead of answering, underneath his mask he gave a smirk.

She was already in her late fifties and she lived alone at the outskirts of the town, who would even know that she was dead?Blabbermouths always end up suffering for their crimes anyways.

After scanning the house and making sure no one was there, he spoke into the earpiece in his ear.

“Coast is clear ma’a
