"Is everything alright?" Rick asked, looking at Lisa. "I think we need to go on foot from here." Lisa turned back to meet the gazes of Jack and Rick. "Why?" Jack asked, feeling a little scared. Lisa removed the cloth Jack had tied around his neck, and she saw he was bitten. "He is bitten." Lisa spoke slowly and walked away. Rick looked at Jack and felt sorry for him. "When did this happen?" he asked, looking at his face. "Yesterday night, the zombie had bitten me before you came over to rescue me." Jack said he was coughing. Jack felt his bones snap as his memories began to fade away. He knew he was becoming a zombie. He wanted to take Rick's gun as he shot himself in the head, but it was too late.
