A Trick or Foolishness?

As they departed, Jim inquired, "What happened to you, Zaria? I have never witnessed you so shattered before!" He whispered softly.

"I just wish that when they return next time, they would end my life!" I began to sob uncontrollably.

Never before had I felt so weak and exploited; just the thought of enduring this trauma again was unbearable.
