“Do you think the idea came from me? I don’t even know how Oliver thinks, nor how the Legion moves,” Zayne’s boss said upon answering the call.

“What?” Zayne asked, his brows furrowed in confusion.

Then, he realized something.

“This idea… came from our ally from the Legion itself?”

“Right,” his boss confirmed. “He is helping you by limiting Oliver’s movements for now as they didn’t have a backup, so you can move freely.”

He added, “I didn’t know why he was doing this, even though I reported the mistake you made by having Ryan Williams killed. But I guess you should take it as a second chance.”

“Maybe he realized that it should be done, and it wasn’t a mistake,” Zayne said, his tone slightly arrogant.

“Anyway, if that’s all, I’ll end the call now.”

And before his boss could argue, Zayne already ended the call.

That was the first time Zayne did it, and it felt liberating. After following all of his boss’ orders, he finally managed to break free.

Oliver was right. The storm hit their place, making it harder for helicopters to fly.It even gave them difficulty walking in the forest as the path became slippery. But if Oliver is determined to cross that path, no one can stop him; neither do they.“From what I’ve heard before, we could re

The Ogre’s eyes widened in shock, not because Oliver interrupted him.Oliver used the same language as him.“You have been betrayed before, and it’s the reason why you lose trust in humans. I understand that,” Oliver said.“But not all humans are the same.”‘Not only he could understand and speak our language. He’s also fluent in it…’ the Ogre thought, amused and shocked at the same time.‘H-How could this happen?’ “Are you one of us?” the Ogre couldn’t help but ask. “No one understands our language. How could you?”To be honest, Oliver didn’t know how to answer that question.Suddenly, he could understand and even speak the language he couldn’t remember studying. But one thing is for sure.“I’m human,” Oliver answered, his tone confident. “And we just wanted to pass through the other town using this shortcut. Nothing else.”The Ogre looked at him with confusion and suspicion in his eyes.He still couldn’t believe it. Humans, after all, are scumbags who always look at them like they’

Only the sound of the bats could be heard as no one between the three of them was talking.‘Betrayal, huh…’ Oliver thought, his brows furrowing. ‘Whoever is that traitor, I'll make sure I find out one day.’“Ryan,” Oliver called as they saw the light at the end of the cave. “Be careful when you go back to your company. Heighten your security.”“Alright,” Ryan affirmed.“Also, once you see the evidence you discovered before someone tried to kill you, give it to me immediately.Ryan nodded.“And Ray,” Oliver called, and Ray became attentive listening to his next words. “Make sure you’ll be prepared. It was the mere reason she got dizzy after consuming it.Seraphine knew how many people were waiting for her to mess up, so she could throw her from the Capital Hall. This could be the greatest opportunity for those people to fire her from Capital Hall. And that’s the last thing Seraphine wanted to happen.“Wait…” Seraphine suddenly stopped in her tracks, realizing that she overlooked a major detail. “No one saw the CCTV footage?”At that time, she was certain that Oliver already left the storage area, and it meant that the member who helped him, whoever it was, left the Capital Hall as well.‘If that’s the case… could someone
