107 – A Suspicion

Cody returned to his farm to pick up Emily, Shawn, and Gwen. Meanwhile, Helena took care of that place while Cody was away.

As promised, Cody returned Shawn and Emily to that community. Emily and her father had an emotional reunion, while Shawn went straight to his place, saying nothing.

Then, a small concert held that night made the residents of the place rejoice. They enjoyed Gwen singing while playing the guitar. Some of the audience even shed tears after finally being able to see the singer’s performance.

“Ah, I’m so tired.” Gwen sighed as she finally sat on a sofa in a room. “I ended up singing more songs than I planned. They were so enthusiastic.”

Cody put a cup of warm tea in front of the blonde-haired woman. “So, it feels good, right? After all this time”

“Yeah, this place also feels more peaceful. Well, it doesn’t mean our place isn’t peaceful...” Gwen looked at Cody, who was sitting beside her.
