47 – Like a Chess

“I’m still not used to this.” Helena grimaced while looking at the dog-headed zombie.

“I also feel this is inappropriate. I feel like I don’t respect dead people.” Cody prepared several things into a bag. “But I need to do this.”

Using the dog’s head, Cody had identified various scents, including John’s. Cody identified John’s scent from the remaining piece of his shirt.

And finally, he detected another man’s scent. He believes it belongs to Evan Callihan.

“Be careful.” Gwen said as Cody grabbed the bag.

“I will.” Cody smiled, then climbed on the back of one zombie. He did that to maintain his distance from his zombies. If he was too far away from them, then he could not control or possess the walking corpses.

Cody held onto the zombie and then possessed the one with the dog’s head.

“You’re ready to go hunting, huh?”
