Jacob replied with earnest eyes, genuinely perplexed: "I truly cannot fathom what thoughts whirl in Hubert's mind to make such a presumption. Domi never mentioned the asteroid's operation, nor did he utter a word about Theodore. From beginning to end, his sole focus was on you and on propelling you to the seventh level. Why would you suspect otherwise?"

Hubert's voice took on an eerie cadence, his words imbued with a gravity that caused the room to still: "Because I used my Clairvoyance to see my elder brother, standing right before me."

"What? Excuse me?" Jacob's voice raised in pitch, uncertainty evident in his tone: "Theodore stands before you now?"

The weight of Hubert's revelation wasn't lost on Winston, who until now had chosen to remain a silent spectator. The shock in his voice was palpable: "Theodore is here?"

Hubert, with a hint of mystery, posed a question: "Would you like to see for yourself?"

"But how?" Jacob's question echoed the skepticism and curiosity they all felt.
