But no answer greeted him. That familiar gaze seemed to drift further away each passing day. Hubert couldn't fathom what had befallen Raymond. Time and again, Raymond had protected him, expressed his feelings through actions. Yet, when Hubert reciprocated, why this awkward distance? At last, Hubert could no longer hold his silence:

"I'm fine."
