Armadillo

Qian stayed there for a very long time before walking out of her room in the direction of the garden.

She walked past the guards and was greeted by them, who bowed their heads to her respectfully as she passed them. She then took a deep breath outside the garden entrance. Her heart felt heavy at that moment, but only for a few seconds, because when she looked up, all she saw were flowers blooming under the sun's bright light.

The wind blew against her face gently while the birds sang joyfully in the trees beside her. It was like a scene from a movie where everything seemed perfect despite anything else going on around her.

She walked slowly towards the edge of the garden until she reached its far end. There was a small table with three chairs placed neatly just next to it. The grass was green and freshly cut. She sat down in one of the chairs and stared blankly at the horizon.

It was morning, so the scene in the garden was peaceful and quiet.
