Chapter 380 : The Truth Laid Bare (4)
For close to twenty minutes, all Bin did was use the Sand Ability to slow down and hinder the nimble and outrageously powerful Rock King. The golem was simply too powerful for him to defeat, especially its monstrous raw strength, which was capable of shattering anything born of Black Magic. Bin was hit twice but his body, fortunately, was capable of enduring some of the damage without breaking. While some of his bones were definitely broken, his insensitivity to pain had allowed him to continue battling and continuously distance himself from the opponent. Alas, things did not look good for him as the meteors were getting more numerous and only he was affected by their flames and shock waves. The Rock King was like an immovable mountain and not even the falling flaming boulders were able to break it.

Chapter 381 : The Truth Laid Bare (5)
“Do make yourselves comfortable.”   The Blood Prince seated himself on a luxurious crimson throne, crossed his legs and rested his chin on the back of his hand. He looked relaxed and curious about the fidgety Ryne, who stuck very close to Bin and even behind him, fearful and embarrassed to be looked so intently at.   “To be honest, I did not expect you to come here with someone. Might I presume that she’s the famous Future Guide?”   Before replying, Bin sat on one of the many chairs facing the Blood Prince and motioned for Ryne to do the same. While the girl was averting her gaze and curiously examining the room, which was decorated with numerous exotic statues; Its walls painted with petals and the floor was covered with a soft brown carpet akin to a bear’s fur. Read more
Chapter 382 : A Turbulent Heart (1)
“The calamity already happened, does it even matter to know the truth?” Even after hearing the first part of the truth, Bin was still skeptical and puzzled about this whole matter. Dranxia and its populace had nothing to do with him and whatever happened had nothing to do with him, or so he thought. “Why, yes. It very much does, Bin. So very much, actually. Each person, no matter how insignificant they are, has a role, and yours, as it happens, is not so minuscule. You can’t possibly tell me that you thought you were normal? At least not after you successfully undertook the Death and Resuscitation Ritual. And even before that, you weren’t normal either, physically or mentally.” As he stared back at the pale-faced youth, the Blood Prince gr

Chapter 383 : A Turbulent Heart (2)
“Ryne!” Marshall Don Lunar jumped from his seat and appeared in front of the young girl almost instantaneously. He held the girl’s shoulders and checked her from head to toe with an anxious face. “Are you alrigh-” “She’s okay, no thanks to you.” A cold and mocking voice came from the side, and when the man looked, he saw a smug-looking Bin standing at the entrance of the office. Both of his hands were bound behind his back and to assure he couldn’t run away, Cecile, Alice, and Stanislaw were around him, all looking hostile and on full-alert. “What happened? What did you do to her?”

Chapter 384 : A Turbulent Heart (3)
Once he was back in the living room, where everyone was waiting for him, Bin sat next to the dining table and maintained a short silence. Even though no one spoke, it was clear that they were waiting for him to explain what happened during his unexpected disappearance. The only people who were uninterested were Akane, Bert, and Iris. The latter two were bickering with each other whereas the Japanese secretary was brewing some tea while humming to herself. The three girls and his mother, on the other hand, were intently looking at the young man, their expressions demanding an answer. “Bin, thank you for your help.” Unexpectedly, Melissa, who was absent-minded just a minute ag

Chapter 385 : A Turbulent Heart (4)
“I thought you were not interested in me.” Melissa curiously looked around the shabbily-decorated room then sat on the bed while softly chuckling. It was in the middle of night but, surprisingly, Bin asked her to come with him to his room. Jasmine and Rika were interested in tagging alone, however, Bin rudely told them to go home. “To think such a day would come. I’m really impressed by your boldness.” Instead of replying, Bin pulled the only chair and positioned in front of the girl. He solemnly sat down and cleared his throat before saying, “I don’t think it’s the time for your jokes, Melissa. You are a smart girl and I’m sure that, by now, you have a couple of guesses.” Read more

“Why the long face?”  Shin materialized in the room, cackling maniacally and clapped his hands. He spoke with a mocking tone, gleefully watching Bin’s grave expression. “You think brooding will help you? Or are you that sad about your disagreement with the girl? Either way, it’s pathetic. To think you’d go out of your way to tell her! Ha! That’s the dumbest way to go about your plans.” Shin clapped again then marched toward Bin, stopping inches away, his head lowered to meet the latter’s absent-minded gaze. “Perhaps you’re thinking of what the Blood Prince said? Frankly, if it happens, at least you’ll snap out of it. You’ll come to kn

Chapter 387 : The Maid & The Servant (2)
The next day after Bin, Iris, and Bert had their little meeting, the loud and obnoxious doorbell rang continuously, waking up everyone. Bert Polaris was drowsy and red-faced as he stomped on the chair and made his way toward the door, cursing under his breath and prepared to lash out at the person waiting on the other side. It was really early in the morning and no one in their right mind would do this, especially after they all had a long and exhausting day. When he opened the door and was about to shout at the top of his lungs, Bert frowned and glared at the two females eagerly waiting to enter. It was none other than Emilia and Elise, the two quickly greeted Bert before the latter pushed him away and stepped inside. The thin and short man dumbly gazed at the mother-daughter duo,

Chapter 388 : The Maid & The Servant (3)
The family breakfast proceeded rather peacefully and much better than Bin’s pessimistic expectations. At first, only Emilia and Elise were cheerful, chatting together about random stuff which didn’t pick his interest. When the food, which he could not eat, was served, his mother and sister initiated a subject that forced him out of his silence, though not begrudgingly but eagerly. “It’s not easy to attempt to learn the art of Magical Fusion, much less attempt it. It’s exceptionally hard for you, Elise, as your second strongest affinity is Fire, which clashes with the Blood Element.” Bin’s brooding had come to an end, at last. He pricked his ears and waited for the conversation to continue, looking slightly excited. “I have not

“S-sir!” Cecile, who, a second ago, was minding her own business and playing with her phone, jumped from the couch and stomped the ground and started angrily protesting. She stomped the ground and glared back at Marshal Don Lunar with a reproachful and frustrated look. However, it wasn’t just the girl who was against his orders this time. Stanislaw, Brandon, and Alice all objected, their expression grave and unpleasant. The only one who kept his mouth shut was Jack, his short figure standing in the corner of the office, minding his own business. Although he had officially become part of the Omega Team, he didn’t mingle with the lot that much and rarely showed any interest in deepening their bond of comradeship. Even Elise, who was not a social person,
