Chapter 120 - The Village Of The Elves
Underneath the warmth, blinding sunlight, rows of wooden structures with unique designs scattered right beneath the canopy of the clustered leaves. Birds flying around and chirping loudly within the vicinity while the bustling streets of wooden bridges, wooden stalls, and many more filled both the branches high above and the middle trunk.  All of the villagers walking on top of these  streets wore varied clothes. Some donned clothes made out of tanned hide along with small fangs accessories. Some adorned in clothes made out of colored leaves, while the majority wore pure white silk dresses.  Mingling together with the crowds were the elves who held bows on their hands and a quiver of arrows on their backs. A short sword was tied to their waist and their sharpened gaze wandered around the village. Scrutinizing every lit

Chapter 121 - The Agency
As the orange gold slowly set in the horizon, a differently entire color darkened the vast light blue whilst the gentle breeze became stronger in time. Underneath the prelude of twilight were three individuals who walked through the bustling area. To the surprise of a girl among the group of three, the people of this community still haven't prepared to leave. In fact, the atmosphere was as lively as ever. Not long after, she spotted a single firefly flying right in front of her. Unlike ordinary fireflies, the little creature was twice bigger and twice brighter than its kin. At least, that was what the firefly should be in the girl's knowledge.  When she was about to raise her hand and touch the firefly, another one was flying beside her. Soon, more and more of them appeared out of nowhere. Each as big and bright, causing her to

Chapter 122 - The Chief Of The Elves
At last, she finally arrived at the top of the tree after spending more than an hour. Her breathing was slightly ragged and beads of sweat flowing down incessantly. However, rather than feeling to be mindful of her appearance, Elizabeth strode to the huge abode guarded tightly by more than a dozen rangers.  It wouldn't be wrong to call the abode a mansion, since it had five story floors from the outside and the endless exotic decorations around the place. A miniature garden was built in front of the entrance while some small statues made out of crystals were erected on both sides on the path to the door.  For a second, Elizabeth gawked a bit at the view since she could see how expensive those decorations must be, yet they didn't match up with the building at all. But then, she disregarded the appearance of the place she fre

Chapter 123 - Monster
"Something that shouldn't be possible…?" repeating Fae's words, Elizabeth probed further, "What do you mean by that?" "Well, about that…" Looking towards Edmurd's direction, the latter responded with a snort and said, "She has much to know. I would suggest telling her about 'All of The Six Origins'." "Hmm, I guess you are right," gazing back at Elizabeth, Fae muttered, "Since there might be a chance for her existence to be tied with it." 'It's that All of the Six Origins again…' frowning, Elizabeth asked, "What's the All of the Six Origins? It's tied to my existence?" "It's just a theory, young one," approaching Elizabeth and putting hi

Chapter 124 - Failure
Looking at the once busy street turned into an empty path, Elizabeth walked through the heavy silence surrounding the area as her gaze fixated upon a certain faraway direction.  Behind her were a group of four rangers with one of them was a familiar figure to her since he had accompanied her this whole afternoon. Instead of helping their fellow rangers and warriors, all four of them were ordered to babysit her, something that she was fully aware of since the rangers had been looking in the same direction as her line of sight.  At first, Elizabeth wished to reject the kind gesture. She thought hiding in the chief's abode would surely be safer even without any guards. Perhaps, even some random houses that weren't used by the villagers would serve the purpose just fine.  Read more
Chapter 125 - Scepter Of The Sacrifices
Leaping sideways to dodge the fatal blow, a glinting blade whistled at his side and brushed his neck. A faint line of blood appeared while his hand reacted to the assault, thrusting his hardened, knifelike nails to his enemy.  Instead of feeling the fresh liquid and the warmth of the flesh, the claw struck into the wall invisible even to his eyes. Subconsciously, he hissed as annoyance simmered within. But before he could make his second move and vent out, his instinct screamed to him to tilt his neck to the side and an image of his head being pierced flashed in his mind.  Unconditionally following his guts, he avoided yet another strike that aimed to his head. Though he might even survive by having his head damaged or looped off of his neck, the idea of being taken captive and experimented with his enemies filled his mind

Chapter 126 - Desire
Feeling the bombardment of the explosive arrows, the gigantic being whose appearance was formed with endless worms finally shrieked in anger. It thought that at last, it would be able to overwhelm anyone on its path and take on a feastful massacre. Yet, what awaited it was an obstacle harder than it had imagined. Those tiny warriors with their little bows were easy picking back when it dealt with them one at a time. Even a group of three or five was hardly a problem. But when more than twenty of them gathered together, along with a mysterious figure clad in wind, they were so troublesome, to the point it thought of them as a threat.  However, the real peril lay on the figure whose body was shrouded in wind with movements just as fast as the torrent he had summoned. It thought it was the ruler of the wind and death, the wind was

Chapter 127 - Showdown
Panting heavily, Aaron glared at the wizard who was ten meters away in front of him. The wand which the wizard possessed had materialized a transparent, muddy-like sphere right at the spot of the goat's carving. Shiver clawed to his spine every glance he directed to those spheres and his once boiled temper had calmed down by now.  For he had no luxury to go berserk in his state. Half of his stomach was gone, leaving a half circle wound with intestines and bones showing out, with a bizarre scene of his blood that didn't flow down and was still intact on his body, considering there was an empty place beneath them.  His arm wasn't spared either, leaving behind a similar severed limb like his opponent. But in contrast to his foe, his arm and stomach didn't heal at all, only black smoke coming out of his scarred flesh. Read more
Chapter 128 - Awry
"Gahk!" Spitting out a mouthful of blood, another wizard was trampled right underneath Edmurd's paw while it scrutinized the fallen foe, especially the stuff hidden beneath his black cloak. And again, it's expectation was betrayed when the items that rolled out of that cloak were some stack of papers, a straw doll, and some chains.  Considering Edmurd had dealt with the wizard with the same amount of effort as the others, the result might have been disappointing. Not to mention, since that was the last wizard it had taken care of in this whole fight, the only wizard left would be the one who was fighting with Aaron.  The other rangers that helped them were already injured to some extent and now have been waiting for their chance to help Aaron for a while. But no ma

Chapter 129 - The Overseer
At the far distance away from the battlefield of the elves and the wizard, an outline of a figure was standing upright at the very top of the tallest tree in the area.  The tree was dead, with not even a single leaf on its numerous branches, similar to all of the trees around. Because of that, the moonlight unobstructedly casted it's illumination to the caster land below, making everything to be brighter than the normal wilderness.  An old telescope was held in his hand while the figure used the telescope to see a certain scene. Soon, the edge of the lips beneath the shade was curled upwards. Putting away the telescope, a glowing pair of gold were squinted slightly. Then, he softly muttered, soft enough to only be heard by himself.  "Glad to have a plan B in c
