Chapter 130 - Evolve
"Rawwwrr!" Roaring out loud, the air in front of Edmurd immediately created a ripple. In the next moment, the artificial demon has its movements halted whilst excruciating pain emerges in its head. Within that period of time, tree's roots and vines started to sprung up from the ground and went to the hurricane. Half of them were quickly torn to shreds but those ones that were thicker had succeeded in tying up the demon.  Obviously, the demon wanted to break free and forcefully rip apart the vines and roots with its strength. But seeing that it's strength didn't work, it changed its tactic and let the black wind begin to corrode and chipped them slowly.  However, Edmurd didn't just stay still and dashed to the demon. Fangs and claws bared, edmurd growled and pounced

Chapter 131 - Safety
When she finally saw Edmurd back to the chief's residence, along with Aaron and some ranges in tow, Elizabeth quickly walked to their side to ask about the current situation. Yet, instead of receiving a good news, the information about how the demon would destroy this part of the forest and the chief was the only one who buy some time for them, had made Elizabeth stunned silly for she thought with edmurd and Aaron, the wizards wouldn't have a chance to win at all.  Now that the worst possible scenario has unfolded, Elizabeth felt the sense of urgency to get back to the other side as soon as possible. But she couldn't just run away by herself. For now, she decided to help the elves to pack up and organize the civilians.  With the exception of Aaron offering his help to the villagers, Edmurd was only observing the village whi

Chapter 132 - Unscathed
As blood trickled down from his forehead, a series of heavy breaths flowed out of his mouth with one of his arms throbbing unbearably. The gigantic mass of darkness stood in front of him as he felt the warmth, but exhausting surge of energy condemning beneath his sole feets. Whilst the winds still blew incessantly around him and carried his weary body in the air, the notion of him winning this fight was dwindling as time passed.  It was unfolding like he had expected. His previous spells which could affect the creature's ethereal form have turned out to be no more than gentle pokes by now. The once equal battle had changed into one sided match. It takes a few of his best spells in firepower to keep the demon busy.  "Still… Strong?". Contrary to before where

Chapter 133 - Mission
Stopping his movements, Aaron turned his head to see the bright light flashed in the far distance. It seemed to be a powerful explosion and all of the traveling elves took a look at it with a grimmer face. Elizabeth, who noticed that, couldn't help but ask out loud. "Why they seem concerned right now?" Staring back at the young lady, one of the rangers smiled and spoke politely, "Those blinding lights should come from our chief's best spells. Even though we are so far away, it would be easily recognizable to notice his power." Looking up to the canopy where one of the few rangers managed to catch up to Edmurd's speed, Elizabeth looked a little surprised before she nodded in acknowledgement. Fae's image and their first meeting crossed Elizabeth's mind. They only met for a sho

Chapter 134 - Blood
Six hours later after the departure of the elves, the sun had risen up on the horizon and they had entered an unknown part of the forest, where every passing vegetation would have their unique properties and appearance, invoking the curiosity within Elizabeth's heart.  But instead of full throttle dash from the first hour, their pace has slowed down considerably to the point they were strolling instead of running. Right now, everyone decided to take a rest and has been sleeping soundly in the clearing the rangers had found. Only a few individuals were still up and keeping watch of the surroundings.  Obviously,as the most ordinary in the bunch, Elizabeth joined most of the elves in sleeping for the upcoming journey. She was placed rather a bit far from the elves. However, most of the elves were also separated themselves and

Chapter 135 - Bait
Waking up from the gentle nudge at her shoulder, her eyelids twitched briefly as she unfolded them. At first, her vision was slightly blurry while her head didn't process what was going on. A second later, he finally recognized the figure who had roused her from her slumber. Perhaps, calling it a being was much more correct.  "It's time for breakfast, Elizabeth." A small bundle of giant leaf could be spotted at the tip of its lips. Edmurd then gently placed the bundle on the ground and let it open. There, a few sphere shaped bread was stacked together with an already peeled warm potato beside them.  "The elves' bread. I bet you haven't tried to eat this on the other side. The specialized elvish food for traveling." Read more
Chapter 136 - Trap
After unleashing their devastating ability, Aaron changed his course and tried to see if there would be groups of wizards unnoticed. Abandoning all of the bats, he accelerated his pace and sped up. Gaining a bit more altitude as he wandered his gaze.  Some of the bats that he personally cultivated by letting them drink his blood, find another sign of a group of wizards not too far away from where he was. Without a second thought, he flew to one of the bats. Following it's direction until finally, it caught up to another group of wizards.  The bat wasn't even able to make a scream of pain before a ball of acid was thrown to it and melted it's flesh and bones. With the shared senses, Aaron immediately felt the last second agony of the bat before it died, making him flinch subconsciously. As rage slithered within

Chapter 137 - The Sapphire Dragon
"AAHHH!" The second that scream spread in the area, all of the wizards turned their attention to the source and found one of their comrades was engulfed in flames.  The nearest wizard quickly pulled out a glyph paper of water spell in order to take out the fires. A few seconds later, a giant ball of water was formed on top of the burning wizard and immediately dropped at him. Yet, the result was there wasn't any chance except for all of the water quickly changing into steam.  With surprised expression, Horghan was the first to snap out of the school and went to see the wizard's condition in detail. But then, the twin bells under his cloak ringing loudly and the same occurrence happens to all of the other wizards.  Read more
Chapter 138 - Unexpected Army
Widening his eyes in astonishment, Aaron felt like he couldn't move his gaze somewhere else when he spotted the injury on the dragon's queen Sarvas's chest. A pained shriek came out of the mighty creature while thunderclouds raged on in that moment. For an instant, Aaron felt he watched the beginning of an Armageddon.  He wasn't wrong to feel that in the next heartbeat, endless downpours of lighting bolts emerged and burned down part of the vast woodland. If not for the fact that this was the homeland of the elves and the wilderness was fifty times bigger than any other, the rage of the dragon queen already scorched a whole forest.  As for the wizard who holds the staff  he is luckily still able to live by using teleportation in succession. At the same time, he cast multi layered barriers which tanked most of the damag

Chapter 139 - Miracle
When two opposite energies clashed against one another, a blinding light ensued and a shock wave that spread across more than five kilometers shook the air itself and pushed both parties.  As the clash of the energies finally reached their climax, a tremendous burst of impact transpired with the entire giant aircraft trembling from the aftershock, leaving it in disadvantage after the confrontation.  On the other hand, Sarvas was still undamaged and healthy, just like how she appeared before. Not even a burning mark appeared on her scales.  Meanwhile, the Armed helicopters that were supposed to be circling the dragon were either destroyed by shock waves or running away from the terror of facing the mythical beast.  Read more
