Ian's Decision
Just as Ian had asked for, the crystal of truth was brought in. The second prince and his men thought that Ian had decided to give up and confess his crimes since he had no more support or backup left to count on. Afterall, the moment his own parents failed to place their trust on him, he had already lost the battle. They were, at least according to Cedric and his men, Ian's best support and his only saviors, unbeknownst to them the true skills and talents of Noah, who was residing in Ian's body. They placed the crystal of truth in front of Ian. It was placed on a stand that was decorated with the royal crest, making it one of the most valued items of the kingdom. Even in the whole continent, there was only a few of these crystals. As mentioned previously, the crystal changes colour according to the words of the speaker. If they are speaking the truth, then it'll remain the same pale blue colour and if they're lying, it'll glow red. Ian

Corner's Despair
"Young master.." Corner slumped down to the ground with a despairing expression as he saw Ian turn into fire and disappear.  The young master that he adored, the young master that he respected and wanted to serve for all his life, that person had to go through something so unfair and agonizing that they'd decide to disappear.  The very thought of what Ian must've felt when he stood at the trial stand, receiving all those negative feelings directed towards him from the people he loved and cared about made Corner go numb all over his body. And at the end of that despair, the only thing left in Corner's heart was pain and anger. He was like an injured animal who had his last safe spot snatched from him, helpless and miserable.  "My lord.." He looked at Miller. And the Duke who always held his head up high and never avoided anyone's eyes had his he

Embarrassed Ian
As Ian's parents and the other's despaired over what a terrible thing they had done and how they could get Ian back, on the other side of the city.  Fwoooshhhh...  A forest not too dense yet desolated enough for no people to be seen anywhere around.  In a certain spot inside that forest, a turbulence in the air started to rise. Inside a vortex created by the wind, soon sparks and then fire appeared.  A tornado made of fire and then soon, it took the shape of a human. The human shaped fire landed softly on the dry leaves piling up on the ground.  Crinkle. Crinkle.  At the sounds of leaves getting crushed by his weight, a nearby squirrels ran back into his home in fear.  "Hmm.. This should be far enough.." The human shaped fire had started to resemble a body similar to a human and soon

My Kids
"London bridge is falling downFalling down, falling downLondon bridge is falling downMy fair lady."  Walking through the dense forest seeing the sun set on the west behind the tall trees of hundreds of years, Ian hummed to himself.  For some weird reason, he was feeling as if he had gone back to his childhood days as he jumped from one root to another, one branch to another and strode forward.  'You sure are enjoying yourself.' The phoenix spoke, happy internally after seeing Ian so carefree and genuinely enjoying himself.  "It's been a while since I could stroll around like this without caring for a thing." Ian tried to remember his life as Noah.  Back at his world, Noah was always buried in work and responsibilities. Even the small bit of free time he managed to recover once in a while wo

A Rural Village
Ash, Damon, Lucas, Louis and Henry, the five of them stood before Ian as Ian took a good look at them. He hadn't seen them for three whole days so he was a little too happy , like a doting, clingy parent.  "Were you waiting for us, brother?" Lucas asked. Seeing how Ian wasn't shocked or surprised after seeing them, and how he welcomed them as if he had been waiting for a long time, that's the impression Lucas got.  "Of course I was waiting. Why else would I take a nap here?" Ian jumped down from the tree branch and approached them.  "So you knew.." Ash wasn't too surprised since he could feel it to some extent. He would've done the same if he was in Ian's position, specially since Ian knew Ash would be able to track him.  "Yeah. You guys came a long way. Was it hard?" Ian started ruffling their hai

The beginning of Ian's Adventure
"So what's the plan?" Louis asked after putting all the kids to sleep. Since he was the eldest, and the one who had accompanied Ian several times before in his secret outings, he figured Ian would give him some clue.  "I'm going to look for a particular person." "A person?" "Yes. A little girl. She's.. in a lot of pain right now.. and desperately needs a savior.. " Ian remembered the little girl from the novel. Even after three years, she'd still be little while she discovers something like that accidentally.  'She must be tiny right now.' "So we're saving someone.." "Yes. And then we'll take her with us." 'Although I need to do a few things more before I do that.' "I see.." Seeing how Louis's questions soon came to an end, Ian wondered if he was

Not a Bad Wolf
As Ian woke up yawning early in the morning, he was met with the scene of five kids curling up around him in his bed.  They all had separate beds yet somehow managed to get on Ian's in the middle of the night. Ian imagined the scene of them crawling up to his bed, half asleep and couldn't help but chuckle.  As they all woke up soon after, Ian took them and went out to check for some local breakfast. He wanted to taste the varieties all around the country as he travelled. And this would be the start.  "Welcome, young master. Did you have a comfortable sleep?" The innkeeper welcomed Ian and his party. They had sharp eyes so they could tell at first glance that Ian and his party weren't commoners or simple rich young masters. And their tone had changed accordingly.  "Yeah. Your rooms are pretty comfortable." Ian nodded and greeted them back.

What did I pick up?!
"Stop." Ian asked Louis to stop and he quickly took back the sword that was halfway up in the wind towards the wolfs direction.  The village kids, although scared and shivering, didn't move away from the wolf till the last second, fearing that the sword might go up again and harm the wolf.   As Louis came back following Ian's order, Henry also couldn't figure out the situation and stepped back. Ian slowly approached the kids as he knew they were scared and in desperate need of help.  "It's okay. They won't harm the wolf. See? No weapon." Ian approached them slowly and crouched down to get on the same eye level as the kids. They looked at Ian and the fact that he didn't look threatening at all helped the kids calm down a lot.  As they looked more accepting of Ian's presence, he smiled and tried

Father & Son
The half conscious wolf started walking towards Ian, the source of the delicious smell that woke him up.  The other's and even Ian himself were left baffled when they heard the wolf speak and didn't move from their position.  "Meat..." It glanced at the steak in Ian's pan and mumbled. Soon, it was just steps away from Ian and looked like it was planning on pouncing on him for the food.  Ian planned on talking to it nicely since it could understand human language and even speak it. But before he could even open his mouth, he saw the shadow of a wolf as big as him jumping towards him.  "Stop! It's hot!" He reflexively used his water to create a shield in front of him as he shouted.  Bam! The wolf ran directly into the water barrier and fell down, whimpering while grabbing it's head in pain. It l

The Queen of Eternal Darkness
Ian fell asleep. After playing with the wolf tribe kid for a long time, he was exhausted both mentally and physically. It was the first time Ian had to deal with a kid that actually behaved like a kid, playful, unrestrained and way too energetic.  As he fell asleep from exhaustion, Ian thanked the heavens for making his kids so mature and thoughtful. He was talking about Ash, Lucas and the others of course. They were all his kids.  But Ian's sleep was over just as quickly as he had fallen asleep. Since his three familiars were working hard inside his body, all of his fatigue disappeared in the span of a few hours. Yaawwwnnn...  As he stretched his body after waking up and sitting straight, he could feel something small beside him.  Ian looked to the side and was surprised to find the wolf kid sleeping beside him on the same bed. He
