052: Short
After seeing the state his mother was in, Corey could only lay in his bed as little drops of tears rolled out of his eyes. He shook off his sympathy, and reminded himself of how horrible she had been to him. He would never get closure. She only missed him because he wasn't there to take the heat of her abusive husband. And now that Larry has brought in another woman, Corey can only think that his mother's eyes have been opened. She did so much for Larry, and now he that he was replacing her- Corey knew from experience how that can open someone's mind to what they've been ignoring. He made a mental note to check in on her again in another month or two. Corey got out of bed in the most unusual way. Rolling out and letting his body drop to the floor. He stood up, feeling nothing and cleaned himself off in the shower, changed his bandages before leaving the room to find something that would keep his mind busy. Corey hadn't decided on the next fruit they were going to retrieve. If he d

053: The Starbust ball
"The Starbust ball. Well I'll be friggin damned." Verosika swore. The Starbust ball has always been featured on the big screens all over Imp-tropolis. The imps, demons and others loved to see prestige at its finest and make fun of it. The people of Starbust are the most stuck up people she'd ever seen. The only reason she showed up to the ball along with the other women, was because of Corey. Everything she did lately, always involved him. It might also have to do with her wanting the bragging rights that came with attending this prestigious, tight knit event. Each woman chose a mask they could identify each other with, and they chose the colors black and gold for their attire. They didn't want to stand out, but at the same time, they wanted to fit in. It was hard for them not to stand out with a tall orc such as Borba, a half beast, a Centron, the queen of northern Imp-tropolis, a dragon mage, a human- though they couldn't identify her as such, having no clue that humans were a t

054: Unusual matrimony
Corey could have told the women to behave, but he didn't want too. The king heard a yawn, but ignored it when he saw that it came from an orc. He felt disrespected. The king's speech took a good chunk of everyone's time, even the queen looked bored by the time he concluded. Telling everyone to enjoy themselves. He sat back down, his eyes returning to the orc that had disrespected him. Instead he found her whispering into the ear of one his daughter's suitors. He could tell from the pin. The king wondered who this suitor was and why he was here with a different breed of people. The mask prevented him from seeing the man's full face, but he couldn't see the upper half. From the eyes to the forehead. His skin was purple, so he had to be a demon. His suit looked basic, yet it had a strange uniqueness from how odd the fabrics looked. He couldn't let his daughter marry such a man, but he would leave that to the test. He wanted her to be happy, but he also wanted to look good to the public

055: The Undead Damsel
"I knew it. I knew the second we stepped into this place that you would do something ridiculous." Pamela started her rant. They'd just left the ball, and were seated on the large saddle on Greta's back. Corey was expecting her to this. As were the other women. Borba had only known Pamela for seven days, and even she was getting tired of her certain types of behavior. Pamela noticed the tension in the air. And how it became a bit hostile as it was directed at her. The group were not at all ready to hear her rant but she was going to give it to them anyways."You kissed the princess. And now she's your wife! First, you get a lap dance from Verosika. Then you sleep with Borba-""You did what?!" Verosika spun her neck to face Corey. The teen however, only stared at Pamela. Brilliant and beautiful. Jealousy will be her demise. Corey thought that to himself. She sounded like he had committed a grave crime. He was starting to lose the appeal she had once in his eyes. 'i might need a new en

056: pillow talk
"The Undead Damsel, is amazing!" Yumiko squealed. She jumped up and down as she ship rocked along the clouds. They'd taken off just a few moments ago, with Corey giving the instructions for a private resort where he could bond with the girls and catch a break. They had three out of seventy fruits. Not enough to deserve a break, but Corey wasn't interested in the semantics of the situation. He wanted to enjoy the game. Like he was tapping out of a quest in CoT and going on an adventure. Where he just explored and gather knowledge. The game was his biggest sponsor. The creators adored him for making their game popular, and Corey wasn't even sure how he did that. Oh wait, he remembered now. A gamer girl, CrazyKat, streams everytime she games. She played six times with Corey. They even went on a side quest together where she told him she had a crush on his soft voice.Although he only spoke a few times. Kat's streams got people interested in the guy she was playing with. And since you

057: Mother in trouble
While Corey and his women sail to the private island to have a the break of a life time, the Lock keeper was busy studying him. He sat behind a large table that doubled as a screen as well, showing Corey laying next to Misha. They were talking about something but the Lock keeper couldn't hear it. Something was blocking the frequency, and the image was glitching. This made him grow irritated, there was something about Corey he just couldn't understand. One of those things was how everytime he tried to spy, or sneak a little peak into what Corey was doing, something always interfered. He either couldn't hear, or couldn't see. Or sometimes both. The teen had to be cheating. That was the only logical explanation the Lock keeper could find. And that was why he had called someone special. The door to his office came open, and heels clinked to the floor. The long thick black dress dragged along the floor, and the unknown visitors hair sashayed along with her hips. She stopped by one of th

058: The catacombs of Deloris
The ship stayed in the sky while Corey and the women slid down to the island through a rope. The first thing Corey noted was the sinking feeling that turned his stomach, something bad was about to happen but he didn't know what it was. And NewAge only ever warned when the danger was close, leaving Corey to search for what was causing a fuss in his body. Yumiko sat atop his shoulders, sniffing the air for fruits. Corey hoped she would notice something since she had a better sense of smell than the rest of them. The island, Corey noticed, was deserted. Which made no sense. He had found the island thanks to NewAge, it was a resort. Why was it suddenly deserted?NewAge: SOMETHING MUST HAVE CHANGED DURING OUR JOURNEY HERE. Corey nodded in agreement, that was the only logical explanation. Something changed during the period of them coming here. The entire island still held it's amenities, but something was off. Corey craned his neck, a red splatter was on one of the buildings. He squinte

059: Bulls
Corey walked for hours before he was alerted that his body required food to go on. He had skipped out on breakfast. Not because he didn't want to eat, but he just didn't feel the need for it. He figured he would get something to eat at the resort. A poor decision now that he looked back on it.Nothing had changed about the Temple. After walking, Corey kept seeing the same thing over and over and over again. It was like he was walking in circles. He sighed, and searched for a place safe enough to sit and eat. He found a broken pillar, Corey sat himself on it and thought about a B-L-T sandwich. He paired it off with a bottle of water. Corey kept his eyes busy, scanning over everything. The odd symbols and drawings on the wall. And the stacks of bones from the men Deloris had eaten. This is a sight that he shouldn't be looking at while he ate, but Corey ate with comfort. Viewing the dead bodies as something normal. He finished his meal in just five minutes, drank the whole bottle of w

060: Dying can be painful
The blade slammed down on Corey's fingers, severing them with a clean smoothness that would frighten any one. Corey had experienced pain, he was no stranger to that feeling but this was intense. He'd never felt pain this bad, it forced him to cry out as it shary stung his body. His fingers vibrated, all Corey could focus on was the pain. He'd forgotten he was not alone. That is, until the pain doubled on his side. And everything tuned black. When Corey opened his eyes, he was standing in front of the door again. He blinked, he could still remember how the pain had felt, but his body was empty. All he had was the memory of what had been the worst feeling he'd ever felt. With a deep inhalation, Corey resigned to thinking of a plan. He knew what was going to happen next, so he had to think. He had to make a plan. 'Going with the flow was a bad idea.'He needed to get into the temple, and get out before the bulls arrived. Corey saw that as his only option to survive. At least now he
