Chapter 061
Am I insane? Was the question Corey saw written on the wall this time. Everything was the same, aside from that. He couldn't figure out why that was the only difference. Was the question directed at him in a way?Did Deloris write it? She'd stopped with her cackling but she still followed Corey closely. She was going to attempt to make him one of her meals, Corey knew that. He still wasn't bothered. All he wanted was to not relieve the same horrid fate as the last time. Death had been painful, he hated that. As corey ran, he paid close attention to every creak. Every noise he heard, his spine tingled. When Corey got to the end where the bull had appeared from, he found nothing. Relief smoothed the fear that had been in his chest. NewAge pointed the steps he needed to take. Corey reached for the vine, Deloris chose that moment to start talking."Hello mortal."Corey gave hera confused look and nothing else. He hadn't failed gym class back when he used to go to school. His rope climb

062: A bad plan
Erogo wanted to know what Corey was up too, the teen had been seated on that tree for an hour. Unmoving as he observed the tamaris. A clan even the deity thought was extinct. He guessed that there could have been stranger things. He was preparing to send one of his locked creatures into the catacombs to attack Corey but the teen had gotten out surprisingly fast. The woman beside him also watched the teen. Her thoughts ran wild. If Erogo knew what she was thinking he'd be worried for himself. But thankfully, mind reading wasn't a part of his abilities. She turned away from Corey, and caught the sight of the something zooming through the air. With one eyebrow, an idea formed in her mind. She entertained it, flying off into the sky to grab the ball of light before it could blast off again. Erogo noticed her lack of presence at his side. He found her immediately. As she crushed the ball of light and dropped it into the sea.He appeared next to her. "What did you just do?""What you hi

Chapter 063
Deloris threw her body to the ground, sliding across with ease as if it was the smoothest surface in the world. Her jaw smacked to the ground, mouth open and tongue out. Excitement bubbled within her as she could already taste the sweet flesh of the most annoying man she had ever met. Sure, the satisfaction of him killing her had been taken away but that didn't mean anything as long as she ate him. Corey jumped, he reached his arm up for the vine and caught. His body swung towards the large gaping hole that had caused his death the last time. Corey planted both his feet in each side of the hole, to prevent his body from sliding into it. He turned his head, not wanting to miss what was about to happen. Deloris had forgotten about the trap there. Corey remembered it from when the bull had stepped on it. He knew in her fitted rate she would be blind to remembering that her catacombs are built around traps. Deloris's jaw pushed the trap step down, activating the shape blade. She shot

064: THE GREAT LUKE
(Listen to courtesy call by thousand foot krutch. It adds a different effect.)The amount of time Corey spent making horrible comical poses by the lake was ridiculous. It was like he blocked out the part where something to as shifting into a supernova and about to wreck his newly found paradise. He was making bad puns. Anyone who saw him would have thought he was on some kind of drug, but truthfully, Corey was trying to get control of his nerves. The fear of pain was messing with his brain, he was at one hundred percent. And he knew that.He waved the Triton again, this time he threw it towards the hand. The weapon jammed into the center of the palm. Right besides the box. Corey felt another shake, he ran back up the stares. The lake water began to bubble. It boiled for minutes splashing around the bottom of the stairs. It was almost acidic in the smell. It slowly melted what it touched.Another trap, Corey thought. If someone had reached for the box they would have to touch the ce

065: Odd
"He did what?!" Erogo growl resonated through the thick walls of the room. The woman crossed one of her legs over the other and took a huge gulp from her drink. "You heard me right. He found Eccaris. The deity? Luke?""How? No one has been able to get past the water. Or even the stairs, how was he able to do that?"She shrugged. "I don't know, I was watching the supernova. Waiting for that beauty to burst. And of course, with Luke's help Corey was able to smight it with ease."Erogo slammed his palms to the hard surface of the table. "That can't be. The wielder has to be greatly powerful it be able of use Luke that well on the first try. Corey is a level three-""Level one hundred and ten now. I think. He might be higher."The shock was clear. Erogo slumped into his seat trying to make a logical connection to how Corey could have gotten that strong in the span of a few hours. "Did he eat a level boosting fruit?""None that I saw. And the island is very far from those types of fruits

066: The princess with a story
By the time the other women arrived, Corey had told the tamaris about them do they were more welcoming. The men explained to him that after they were almost wiped out, they had to relocate to the secret part of the island. They were glad to meet their deity, and the celebration had begun. While Corey still examined the box and his mark. He knew this was his paradise and he would have to start preparing it. He needed to care for the tamaris if he wanted them to do most of the work of changing this place from a resort of a living space for all of them. The women formed a circle around Corey and lathered him with questions. All except Yumiko who was dancing around the large bonfire lit in Corey's honor. "You were gone for five days, Corey! Explain why you wouldn't let us help you?""It was a trap. You would have gotten hurt."Borba was the first to scoff. "I am the orc general, very few people can hurt me."That was true but at the time, that wasn't what Corey was thinking about. Anf a

067: Father
The image Corey was staring at reminded him so much of a bastard back in his old life. Only this person had a striking resemblance to him. For some painful reason, his skin was purple as well and he had mirroring golden eyes that shined even in the inked drawing. Corey knew this was his father. But this man, was supposed to be in prison. How could he be in this game? He folded his legs, deciding the answers laid somewhere in the pages and if he wanted to know, he needed to find it. Corey began to read with the sounds of laughter and music in the background. NAME: LONERLEVEL: ZERO, AN ANOMALYPURPOSE: THE FORCE PEOPLE TO RELIEVE THEIR MOST TRAUMATIC MOMENTS-'This sounds like the perfect job for my father but-'He continued to read on. There was no feasible explanation. It just said the loner is anomaly. He's not supposed to exist. Corey tried to view the image as a much grown up version of himself but all he could see it as, was his father. He knew the man's face well enough. I

068: Preparations for Icily
Weeks went by before the island looked presentable. They had taken down the tourist buildings, and kept a sign that said this place had been returned to its owners so people would show up for a vacation. Corey also visited the place underneath, and had the tamaris build his house there. He told them living under was a safer option and that they should only go top level when they needed crops or to check for trespassers. His paradise was coming together, but he couldn't stay to see it all complete. He gave all his women a mark, except for Pamela. If she did return to earth, Corey didn't know what the mark would do. This brought a bit of unpleasantness to her but she didn't say anything about it. He told the women that if any of them died they would appear on the island, and they believed him without questioning. Corey sometimes wondered if they automatically believed everything he said. Because that would be something very risky to do. Yet, he never said these words out.He was fine w

069: Buried
"Ass-a-hoy!""What?!" Corey chuckled. Mikayla pulled the ship into park, activating it's cloaking mechanism."You heard me." She laughs. The group were shivering already and they hadn't left the sky. Icily was that cold. Corey tied a single rope from the ship down to the land. They needed to be slow and cautious. Each person slid down, they heard a tiny rumble but nothing more. Corey got down first, he tested the ground with his boots. Seeing that he could walk a few paces without any issues, Corey gave the ladies a thumbs up. Once they were all down, Mikayla used her magic to hide the rope. She memorized where it was. All the defenses were turned on, meaning if someone or something tried to get into the ship, they would all be fucked. Why? Because each defense system was louder than the last. It would alert them that intruders were trying to get aboard the ship, but it would also trigger an avalanche. Yumiko grew up within cold mountains, and even she was shivering. Borba open he

Chapter 070
"I'll be the first to blame this on the asshole who made this fucking island!" Borba's voice bounced through the ice cave they had fallen into. As impossible as it seemed, the island was colder underneath. The cave was worse. The group thought they had been freezing before, but now trapped under a cave with their only path blocked by snow, they knew that the earlier feelings they had could be considered as warmth compared to this."I agree. What is the purpose of this place? To kill people? Because that's all it has ever done!" Misha snarls. She pulled her knees towards her chest as she shuddered. "And who builds sentinels to not withstand something this fucking cold! How do they expect me to survive?!""I don't think they planned for you to go here. Who would you kill?" Pamela said. She blew a breath into her palms and immediately regretted it. "Fuck it. I'm angry too. My fingers are about to fall off!"Verosika crawled into Corey's lap, she folded herself into a tiny ball and Corey
