CHAPTER FORTY-ONE
Me, Carl, and Odin sat in one room I had never seen in my mansion. But since this place was the opposite of my mansion, it must also have the same room. I haven’t even had time to explore the house. Ever since I got the house, I have been running up and down. Dealing with work and personal life. Life of a rich person when you have psychopaths that want to kill you is hard.Odin was just playing with his hands. Waiting for me to say why I called him and Carl here. The cat, on the other hand, was just linking his paws. But I’m pretty sure they had an idea why I called them here. Because they know my parents better than I do. Odin was still leaving here. Hence, he met my parents and he might be the person to tell me what happened to me. Why I remembered nothing about the place. Also, the old man sensed us miles away. He knew we were coming. Which only makes me think he might have some answers to my questions. I hope.“Well, can one of you start explaining what the hell is going on here?

CHAPTER FORTY-TWO
I didn’t even know what to do with what was happening now. I was happy, though. Because my questions were being answered now. At least most of them have been answered. Only the one that dealt with the dreadfour and their claims about the Fatal. Why did the winter queen blame my parents for stealing something that was not even hers in the first place? If the dreadfour were the true owners of the Fatal, how did it end up with the winter queen and how did Revoc manage to get it from her? Also, what was with it that everyone seemed to obsessed with it? If it wasn’t of great importance, the winter queen wouldn’t have cared about it that much when Revoc stole it. And the dreadfour wouldn’t have shown up and took Carl for my parents to give them the Fatal. And where was the damn thing now? Was it still with Revoc junior or it was with another bastard that has potentials of becoming my problem in the near future?I stood on the balcony of my room. At least I got the same room as back home. An

CHAPTER FORTY-THREE
We lay in my bed. Her on my chest and we just lay in silence. None of us daring to break the silence. Void was right, and I hate to admit this to her. She will rub it in my face. But at this point, I don’t really care. I was just happy I got her back, and that everything was cleared. I miss judged her. She was just a wife that was trying to help out.“I missed this,” she spoke as she looked up at me. “And I love the beard, you should keep it,” she touched it.“Oh yeah? Then I will allow it to be like a grandfather. Not Odin. My grandfather. Well, pretty much all my ancestors kept it. I think it runs in the family.” I spoke. She leaned closer and kissed me, then allowed her head to be on my chest again. I don’t know what was more stupid, actually. The fact that I allowed her to be here in the land of foe with me. Or that I liked that she was nowhere. Because she was keeping me sane, as she has always been doing.“I know my parents went this far. I know you are upset with them. But take

CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR
So far, things were better than I was expecting them to be. Yes, I came here to get answers to my questions, and I was getting them. But more questions popped up. But they all had obvious answers, so to say.And I never expected Maria to be here. Much less that we will get back together after what happened. I agree I was broken by what she and Pit did. She was the only one that was by my side through everything. Getting married to me when I had nothing at all. Even going against her parents and all her siblings.I don’t even know why I just thought she would cheat on me for money. Even when she told me to my face that I was a good for nothing husband, I shouldn’t have believed her. But again, fate was something neither of us could predict. Things just happened. And how we are all here. Waiting for the winter queen to attack if we don’t find Revoc sooner. We were all now in the living room. Waiting for Carl or Odin to start talking. Tell us what they had for us now.Odin cleared his th

CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE
I sat on the balcony of my room, looking at the mountains that Odin said they were mine. That I created them when I was a child. Maybe I was about Ten or less before my parents decided to remove my memories of foe from my head.‘After they removed all the memory of the land of foe in your head, I might have gone along. But you being here helped me to get back to you,’ Carnage spoke. This was something I didn’t expect. Now I have a freaking voice talking inside my head. I didn’t even know how best to deal with it. I wasn’t terrified about this, but I wasn’t happy as well. I didn’t want some freaking voice talking to me.‘I’m the only one that can help you get Revoc junior. So, I would ask you to treat me with respect,’ she spoke.‘Sorry. This is just way too weird to be true,’ I spoke. ‘But why did you create mountains? For what?’ I asked.‘Because that was the only thing that contains what you might need. Some of the answers to your questions. I was helping. I’m your wild side and I m

CHAPTER FORTY-SIX
“What the hell did you do that for?” I asked as I helped him sit on the bed. Looking around, I realized his room was just like his room back home. Everything was the same, well, except for the cleanliness. It also had dust here and there. And only the torch on the wall lit the room.He was shivering as I rubbed my hand on his bare back. Trying to get him to come down. He looked at me and there was only fear in his eyes. He was scared. My woof was scared. But why didn’t Carnage do the same to me? Why did she let me welcome her to me nicely?“It will be fine. Just breathe and relax,” I spoke, calling Carnage to tell me what I needed to do. I was not an expert at this. She knew about wild sides better than I could have. She might know something about wolves as well. But she shut me off. Not saying anything to help my cause. Screw her.He looked at me again, still fear in his eyes, “I don’t know what happened, man. I just started hearing voices in my head. I couldn’t sleep. The thing in m

CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN
I looked at the wall, trying to understand what it all meant. Maybe I was just in denial that something like this was going to happen and I might be the cause of it. I mean, Carnage kept telling me I was the one that wrote everything on the wall, but I have been refusing.Giving myself motivational pep talks, I was a kid, and I did not know what was happening at the time. That she took advantage of me and wrote that. But glimpses of what happened here when I was a kid have been flashing in my head.Clips of my early life were coming one by one. And after seeing the Omega war and everything about it on the wall, I remembered myself writing it. But I was trying to refuse it. That this all thing was a setup or something.“It’s happening, Justine. This all thing will happen in the future or now?” Joseph asked by my side. After a while, I opened the door to check up on him because I wasn’t just feeling okay with the fact that he was locked there and he wasn’t making noise. And now he was h

I sidestepped as his green light missed me. Then I slammed my lightning bold, and it hit him, sending him flipping in the air. But before he could hit the ground, Joseph kicked him in the ribs and send him flying until he slammed a tree.Without giving him a chance to attack, I went running towards him, outdoing every spell and jinx he set at me. Then I flung a hand but missed. He then caught my harm and flipped me in the air, then slammed me back down.He then held his hand, and Joseph hovered in the air.“Enough!” he shouted, then let us both go. “I just want to talk. I have done nothing for her yet. If you don’t do what I have asked of you, I will do what I have planned for her.” He spoke and moved at a safer distance for any of us to attack.I took a dip breath, and my veins became normal. I even felt my heart relax after hearing what he just said about Maria been okay.“I hope Odin has already told you who I’m. Hope he told you about the story of our parents and why I’m doing wha

CHAPTER FIFTY
“I didn’t know how to tell you Carnage,” he spoke as he paced up and down in his room. After my talk with Thought, I was feeling a bit better. He always knew what I needed when I was feeling upset or lonely. When I had no idea of what to do, he always gives me something to think about.Because what he just told me was definitely leading me to somewhere. I just need to think about everything he just told me through. Ask the necessary questions and make sure I get the answers. And that is why I’m in Odin’s room.I looked around, and the all place was covered in papers. Drawings and piles of books were on the table to our left. And like every room, it was also dim.He tried making me look away, but I wasn’t going to do that now. I needed answers. And I will get them. Because I was just tired of being lied to. And those answers might be the only way out of this place before things go south back home.“Odin, I’m not a kid and you knew what was going to happen. And yet you said nothing to m
