The icicles change direction, but instead of being thrown, they are engulfed in flames and then break into tiny pieces. I know that was the girl’s doing, so I let her deal with the Ice Fairy as I recover myself. Khione’s white body is now covered in grey soot that for some reason doesn’t go away. Seeing this wound on her body, she turns to the girl’s direction. But the girl quickly hides herself, so Khione doesn’t know where she is. ‘It’s looking for me.’ The girl becomes wary. But that was her intention. ‘That scream was his. Was he hurt badly? Was I out for too long?’ That scream that woke her was a painful one, and she’s worried that something bad had happened to her savior. So she hurriedly cast Fire as soon as she came to. But now she’s conflicted between running to save him or just stay and distract the monster from here, because he specifically said not to worry about him. She peeks at the monster again. The mist swirls around it, but they’re faint and glows rather bright.
