CHAPTER 11: DEPARTURE
Kabbus never thought he could be this pained. He never expected to experience this kind of pain by seeing the corpse of the people he had grown to love over the years. These people weren't like him but they were his, his people, his propriety and... his only family. "They were the only ones who cared about me." Tears rolled down his eyes as he looked at Wendy's bloody face. His mind went back to the things that had happened since he was reincarnated and he blamed himself for staying back with these harmless people. He stood up from the ground and let out a deep breath. "I can cry all I want later, but I need to leave here first." He told himself as he avoided the corpses on the ground, made his way to his room and started searching his things. He took the money he had made over the years with the ones Lucas and Wendy made, after that, he destroyed the huts and looked at the body again. Kabbus wanted to leave them lying on the ground but his heart couldn't take it. With a little m

CHAPTER 12: THE VINES
The sharp pain ran across Kabbus's body and he groaned as he rolled forward again but it was too late, the vine wrapped around his body, raising him. Kabbus's heart shook violently "Is this motherfucking vines trying to give me to the two-headed snake? What the hell is it doing?" He questioned as he started struggling against the vine. He was certain the vine wasn't part of the snake so why was it helping the snake then?Kabbus continued hitting the vine, moving his body abruptly and trying to use his elongated finger to cut it but nothing was working. The Vine refused to budge and it was tiring, almost putting him at risk. "Ugly thick rope, will you let me go or do I have to cut you into pieces!" Kabbus's sharp tongue got to work, his frustration had multiplied. With a loud hiss, Kabbus felt the vine release itself from him but before he could celebrate his freedom, a sharp kick sent him flying in the air and soon, his back hit a tree, causing him to fall face flat on the ground

CHAPTER 13: THE VINES 2
Kabbus readied himself for a tough fight as the big toad walked majestically toward him. It was carrying itself very slowly but each step covered a lot in a second and the distance between Kabbus and the toad decreased faster than anyone would have imagined. Kabbus stepped back a bit, his eyes not leaving the toad as he removed his bag from his back and opened it. He searched it abruptly, looking for a sharper knife that would help him deal a fatal blow to the toad. "Heck! What the fuck is wrong with this damn bag?! Who asked you to be so fucking big inside?!" Kabbus yelled. His sufferings over the past few days had made him lose all rationality. He was no longer the omnipotent Kabbus who would filter his words anymore and each word that came to his mind at that moment was accompanied by a curse. Kabbus stormed his feet on the ground as he increased his pace in searching for the knives. He couldn't waste more time, the toad had kept its vine but its body seemed even more dangerous

CHAPTER 14: THE SNAKE
The knife hit the toad's head mercilessly and it screeched weakly before its eyes closed and without doubt, it was dead. Kabbus stared at it for a while, trying to make sure he wouldn't make any mistake and when he saw that other than its blood, nothing else was moving, he decided to move closer to it. "I've got to take whatever I want to take from it now or I might attract the attention of that snake again," Kabbus said to himself as he made his way toward the toad. He bent down in front of the toad, staring at the enormous body while wondering how he was supposed to drink from such an ugly thing. He had a look of disgust on his face and if not for the fact that he had no idea when he might leave the forest and when next he would be able to take blood, he would have preferred to just walk away and never look back at the ugly toad anymore. He continued staring, thinking of ways to take the blood without using his teeth and that was when his eyes met the large gash on the toad'

CHAPTER 15: EVOLVING
Kabbus stared at his stat with stars in his eyes. With just 20% more, he would be a level 2 vampire and he was certain his strength would increase dramatically because the strength he got when he was just level one was already past normal human and he was very certain level 2 wouldn't disappoint him either. Kabbus stood up from the ground and packed his bag before he continued on his journey, he knew he shouldn't wait too long in the forest or he might encounter more danger and the risk of dying was high. He ran as fast as he could, avoiding danger when he could and killing some animals when he could. He would taste their blood too to increase his Stat and the improvement was making him very proud. Ten days later, Kabbus could feel his journey come to an end and a smile appeared on his face as he continued running. "I just have to run a bit more and I can get to the city. I just have to run a bit faster." That had been his song for the past few days. He wasn't hungry but he had liv

CHAPTER 16: JOINING A SECT (1)
The trembling of the ground alerted Kabbus and made him jump up. "Could that..." He couldn't complete his words when he started sweating. Without a doubt, he knew the beast coming was way stronger than Star 3 beasts and what was scarier was the way his instinct kept warning him to run away. "I wish I could see that beast and determine how strong it is. That would make me more determined to get stronger but whatever, I should live first." Kabbus did his bag well and started running. He was running as fast as he could but the ground wouldn't stop trembling. He had to stop himself from falling so many times. "Rahhhhhhhhh!!" Kabbus heard an earth-shaking roar from behind and his eyes twitched. He could feel that the sound came from the place he killed that frog beast, could it be that this powerful beast was related to the frog beast? It father? It mother? He knew he couldn't wait any longer or he would lose his life to the wrath of that beast. "I'm certain it's at least st

CHAPTER 17: JOINING A SECT (2)
The four boys only heard a loud sigh from some part of the forest that made them scared. They quickly stayed alert to face whatever it was but to their surprise, it was a human. The human seemed to be about their age but he was a few inches shorter than them. He seemed malnourished, like someone who hadn't eaten for a while. What stood out in him more was his handsome look. Despite his small features, his face was handsome. Not very handsome but he was still good-looking and his smile was enough to make girls go crazy over him. His robe was in tatters, it was as if he had been fighting in the forest for days as he walked over to them. "I'm Louis." Kabbus took it upon himself to introduce himself when he noticed that the boys were just staring at him without saying a word. The tallest boy, who seemed the calmest out of the three boys was the first to step out with a smile on his handsome face "I'm Martins, an outer disciple of the Blue Moon set and these are my fellow outer dis

CHAPTER 18: CULTIVATION
Kabbus waited patiently in the room, his heart was racing as he couldn't help but get excited just by thinking of how his life would change when he started cultivating. He knew he would be able to do it, not only because he was once a Supreme creature but also because he was ready to do anything to get to the peak of cultivation. He was ready to crush his enemies under his feet and he wouldn't stop until he was able to do that. Kabbus rubbed his face and yawned, he felt sad somehow as his mind couldn't help but wander back to the forest where his family once lived. He missed them all and he blamed himself for their death. If only he hadn't come to this world, those people would have lived... so he thought. He was still on that thought when the door opened and Martins walked in with his three other friends. "We are back," Athos said excitedly as he walked forward and handed a book to Kabbus. Kabbus looked at the book intently before collecting it. He stared at it for a while longer

CHAPTER 19: BECOMING A DISCIPLE
Kabbus stood up from the bed and stretched himself. He felt tired but at the same time, he could feel the energy coursing through his body. He clenched his fist as a small smile appeared on his face. "If only I started cultivating way earlier, I might have gotten a lot stronger by now." He thought inwardly as he stared at his body which seemed a little more refined than before. He could feel that he even grew an inch taller and that impressed him even more. "If I grow stronger, will I get more handsome as well? I've always missed my old body as I was the most handsome to ever exist back then and I hate being so ugly in this life. But I guess things will change if I get stronger. I can't wait." He thought inwardly and sighed. What Kabbus didn't understand was that as a vampire, he had a high chance to become extremely handsome and with the help of his cultivation, he even had a higher chance of becoming as handsome as he was before... If not more. "Are you ready or do you want to ta

CHAPTER 20: BECOMING A DISCIPLE 2
Kabbus stood in line with the boys and after a few minutes, it was his turn. He moved forward and stopped in front of a man who had his lower body covered by the tall fence in front of him. He was inside the building and looking out from a small space which seemed like a window... "Your name?" The man asked coldly. "I'm Louis," Kabbus replied. The man looked at him and nodded. "Place your hand here." He ordered as he pushed out something that seemed to be like a dice but there was no number on it and it was a lot bigger than normal dice too. Kabbus placed his hand on it and stared at the man, waiting for his next words but the man said nothing. He just stared at the dice for a while and nodded his head. "Fourth Rank Body Strengthening. You have an average talent." He mumbled, shaking his head. "Here, Take this." The man finally said after a few minutes as he handed a small badge to Kabbus. It was the same badge Martins and the rest had. "With this, you are an outer discip
