As soon as Noah set his eyes on the castle after they had passed through the gates, he gasped and turned to look at Liam with a shocking expression on his face. âYou live here?â âMm-hmm.â Liam nodded in response, maintaining the smile on his face while he looked at Noah who couldnât believe his eyes. âNo way! This is a castle, Emrys, a very big castle! I have never seen a castle before, I canât believe that a place like this still existed! Look at the gardens everywhere, the water fountain! The statues! Everything is beautiful!â Noah gasped again while his eyes looked through the windows of the car which drove to the front of the castle where it parked. Andy got down at once, and opened the back door for Liam who alighted from the car with a smile on his face. âThank you, Andy.â Liam looked at Noah who was still shocked at everything he saw, and he shook his head while chuckling at the same time.âCome on, Noah. You are not going to stay there forever.â âYeah! I am coming

The sight of Rebecca made Noah stop the delicious meal he was eating. He totally forgot that he was famished while staring at the beauty standing close to the table, clad in a beautiful long black gown that clung to her body. âMiss West? You are here.â âYes, Lord Emrys. You have an important meeting at the company, all the employees in the company have been informed, and they will be at the conference hall soon.â Rebecca said calmly before she slowly lifted her face from the tablet she was holding onto with both hands. She looked at Liam with a smile on her face, but he maintained his deadpan expression. âIs there anyone who wouldnât be able to make it to the meeting, Miss West? I need you to confirm that everyone will be there at the meeting because I wouldnât want anyone to miss what I have to say. Can you do that?â Liam waited for Rebecca to give him a response, but she was carried away while staring at him with her eyes wide open while she fantasized about the ideas that roa

Noah couldnât believe his ears when he heard the words from Liam. He stared at him for a while, trying to be certain that the words he heard from him were true. âYou are going to get me clothes?ââYes, Noah! Come on!â Liam stood up from his seat while he gestured to Noah to do the same without discarding his smile. âYou can keep your backpack right there, you will pick it up as soon as we are back.â Noah took a glance at his backpack, and then he stood up from his seat before he followed Liam out of the building. The guards standing in front of the building bowed to Liam as soon as they saw them coming out, and that fascinated Noah who wondered the kind of power he had. âLord Emrys? You are going out?ââYes, Andy! I was about to send for you.â Liam said to the Chauffeur after he appeared from a corner of the premises, holding onto his cap with both hands. âWhere to, Lord Emrys? Which of the cars are we going with?ââLet me seeâŚâ Liam looked at the cars parked all over t
Number-one Customer

Liam took in a deep breath which he met out slowly in an attempt to get a grip on himself. The demeanor of the saleslady pissed him off greatly, and he tried as much as he could to stop himself from reacting. He looked at Noah, but he seemed to be unbothered about all of that while he occupied his eyes with admiring the suits in front of them. âThese are really nice, Emrys! I have never worn a suit before, this is going to be my first time. I am super excited!ââYeah, I guess.â Liam managed to smile at Noah while he struggled with his anger. He looked toward the direction the saleslady had gone and saw that she was speaking to some other people with an excited smile on her face. From the look of things, they appeared rich, and she placed much value on them because of their appearance. âWho are those people?â Noah said when he realized that Liam had been staring at them with a smirk on his face. âWhy would she keep us standing for so long? Thatâs unprofessional!â Noah finally re

The air in the room thickened with a lot of tension, and while Caroline was still trying to get a grip on herself, Noah nudged Liam in an attempt to get his attention, but he refused to look at him while he kept his eyes on Oliver who was still fuming with so much anger inside him. âI really think we should leave this place, Emrys. This is getting out of hand.â Noah whispered to Liam with a nervous tone, but he stood his ground. âDidnât you hear me? I asked you to call your Manager! Do it now!â âPlease, Mr. Garcia! You donât need to do this, we can settle it amicably.â Caroline pleaded, but her plea landed on deaf ears. She looked at Liam almost immediately, giving him gestures to leave, but he refused to listen to her. âIf you do not call your Manager right now, I am going to write a bad review about this place, and I will make sure you lose your job! I swear!â âNo, please! You donât have to do that, Mr. Garcia! I will call him, I will call him!â âYes! Go on! Tell hi
The Party
The Return of the Legendary Student /Mac Nicholas đď¸
Throughout the day, Noah couldnât stop thinking about the events of the day. Even when they drove from the vicinity of the store back to the Castle, he couldn't stop staring at Liam who didnât even seem like he had spent so much money on a store. When it was finally time for the party, Noah put on the suit he picked from the store, and a pair of brown shoes also picked from the store. âThese look nice on you, Noah,â Liam said while Noah had to walk to the mirror to look at his reflection. âWow! I canât believe that this is me.â Noah gasped the moment he saw his reflection in the mirror. He had never dressed in such expensive attire, and he couldn't stop staring. âCome on, Noah. We are going to be late for the party.â Liam said calmly after adjusting his blue-striped tie with both hands. He was clad in a fancy black suit just like Noah, but their designs were entirely different and spoke of luxury from different angles. As soon as they stepped out of the house, Andy who was

Liam looked at the man for a while, and following the thoughts that crept into his mind, he chuckled softly, shaking his head at once. âI still think we should leave this place, Emrys. I am sure we can find somewhere else to sit.â Noah said calmly, looking around in search of another place they could sit. He sighted an empty chair at the other end of the hall, and he sighed before returning his gaze to Liam. âOver there, Emrys! I see an empty seat. We should go there right now, I can let you sit, I donât mind standing.â Noah hoped that Liam was going to agree to what he said, but his mind was already made up, and he refused to budge. âWhy donât you listen to your friend, boy! Leave that place, and find somewhere else to sit!â âNo! Thatâs not gonna happen! If you want me to leave, then you are going to have to make me!â Liamâs eyes glared at the man, sending cold shivers down his spine and those of his friends. They were dumbfounded, and looked at each other with their mouth

Oliverâs shirt got stained with some of the blood that trickled down his face, but he failed to take cognizance of it because of his rage. With a strong determination to get back at Liam, he rushed at him again, and grabbed his two legs, attempting to push him down. âWhat are you doing?â Liam scoffed, looking down at Oliver who strained and grained futilely without being able to achieve anything. âGet off me.â Liam got tired of watching Oliver waste his time. He sighed softly and grabbed him on his shoulders before pushing him to the ground effortlessly. He watched him stagger before he landed with his butt again, but that still wasnât enough to deter him. âI can see that you are not tired, Oliver.â âI am not leaving without a fight! I will make sure that I get you before I back down!â âEven when the odds are against you? Liam scoffed, looking at Oliver with a little surprise in his eyes. âYou have stood in my way twice since today, you will pay! Come on, show me what yo

Liam nodded in satisfaction, and a snicker left his mouth while he glanced at Malcolm who almost shed tears.âI thought the bank belonged to him!ââYes! Thatâs what he told us!â Malcolmâs friends whispered amongst themselves, their eyes looked at him with so much shock. âThis is such a wonderful news, Alfred! Who would have thought that the bank belonged to us?â Liam chuckled softly, giving Alfred more reasons to ask the questions that harbored his curiosity. âWhat has he done, Lord Emrys? Has he offended you?â The Butler looked at Malcolm who gestured to him to plead on his behalf.âHe has, Alfred. His son insulted me and my friend earlier today, and tonight again, I encountered him.â âI am so sorry, Lord Emrys! My son was very foolish for whatever he did to you at the store! He is going to apologize right away!â Malcolm stood up from his knees and grabbed Oliver whom he dragged closer to Liam after giving him a slap, ignoring the grunts and blood that oozed from his mouth.

Gradually, the noise in the hall began to reduce as everyone looked at Liam who stood on the stage with his eyes scouring the entire corners of the hall. He waited for the noise to die out, but when he realized that they were never going to stop murmuring, he looked for a means to stop them from talking. âLet me have that.â He grabbed the last glass of champagne from the bartender who was walking past with a tray in his hand, and he returned to the stage. Gently, he tapped on the glass with his index finger, and the clicking sound drew the attention of everyone who had to keep quiet at once to hear what the young man had to say. âCan I have the attention of everyone? Thank you! Thank you!â Liam cleared his throat before he continued. The sound of the music in the background could no longer be heard, and following the curiosity in their minds, people began to move closer until almost everyone in the hall surrounded him, including Alfred who was given the chance to stand very cl
