“Come right to me dear… Take away the feelings''. Alex mumbled as she jumped to the bed, her hands tightly gripped on his shirt.

“Take it easy, Ma”. Kendrick exclaimed, slightly taking her hands off his shirt.

Alex was drunk, she couldn't tell her left from the right, she raised her hands in the air, waving as though seeking solace.

Kendrick pushed her gently to the bed, his mind reeled as he gazed at her voluptuous body, he picked up a blanket and covered her gently.

“Get to sleep Ma… you’ll be good when you're awake”. He said walking towards the couch.

The air in the room was cold so he wrapped himself in the warmth of the blanket.

Some moment later, his phone's ringtone blared in the room, shattering the silence that enveloped them.

Kendrick walked down to the table and inspected it, the call was from Evelyn.

“Hello Ken, why aren't you back?” She asked. Her voice, laced with urgency and concern. We’ve been worried, you’ve never stayed out this late."
