When Kendrick arrived home, everyone turned to him, he had truly changed overnight, it was the first time he stayed out, the first time he didn't respond to the greetings with a smile on his face.

He dropped from the car and walked into the house, Emily was the first to run to him.

“You're welcome young master, Kendrick… I didn't have breakfast with them… I was waiting for you to return”.

Kendrick turned to her, she was smiling, anticipation lingered on her face, Kendrick's face was blank, he wasn't looking angry, and he wasn't smiling either.

“Why would you have to do that?” He exclaimed in a calm tone.

“I missed you, young brother”, She replied, rolling her eyes.

“I did the same, dear… I’ll get back to you, okay?”

He said moving up the stairs. When he entered his room, his eyes scanned as though searching for a lost item, he recalled the last words Alex muttered to him before leaving his hotel room.

He walked into the wardrobe room, and emerged in a costly brown blazer, neatly fitte
