As Louis entered Peterson's room, her heart raced with a mixture of excitement and apprehension. The sight of the bundles of cash sprawled across the bed made her eyes widen. The stacks were neatly piled and seemed to shimmer through the room.

She felt a surge of greed but quickly tried to dismiss it. She was here for just $10,000, not for a fortune. She muttered to herself.

Shaking off her momentary lapse, Louis picked up one of the bundles, making sure it appeared as though she had only taken what Peterson instructed.

With the cash clutched in her hands, she hurried back to the balcony, her heart thudding against her ribs.

Peterson, his demeanor calm and calculating, took the bundle from her hands with a nod, "Good. Now, go get yourself ready for your medical checkup," he said, his voice calm and gentle. He observed the amount and handed it back to her.

Louis nodded vigorously, eager to leave" Thanks so much sir, I appreciate your kind gesture." She said.
