CHAPTER 152.

After breakfast that morning, Louis received another call that made her heart sink down her chest, it was a call from Alexander, she hurried out of the dinning room to get to her room where she could answer the call without many ears hearing all she had to say.

For an hour after she had hurried out, she opened the door to her room, then she turned out again, “walls they say have ears.” she mumbled to herself as she slowly looked around the basement, turning her head like an animal with eyes and ears alert, searching to see if anything was amiss. She still didn’t feel comfortable within her. At once, she stepped out again, her heart pounding hard.

She swiped her fingers on the phone’s screen and at once, Alexander’s voice came alive, “Hello, what do you want? I told you not to bother me… you should allow me to be the one calling.” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

“when did we start doing that? You're my wife and I have right to call you anytime I want!.” Alexander thundered.
