A frustrated hero

The barrier gave us time to recover from the continuous enemy attacks, which would end in a matter of minutes, as they would run out of arrows at any moment.

There were many wounded, since the arrows that had fallen near us were like rain, it was as if they were simultaneously organizing to attack us from the air.

Luckily the elves began to heal all the wounded of the place, however the enemy army did not stay waiting for us to recover. They sent troops towards us, and they were not simple soldiers. They were heroes who had no intention of leaving us alive. From where I stood I could see their weapons, which were a little different from the ones we had. Meanwhile the heroes in our group were preparing for battle. They all tried to pull themselves together and draw their weapons as the enemies were coming.

The elves finished healing the enemies, but did not head towards the battlefield, apparently they would stay here and wait for the small confrontation between the strongest to end.
