A little later that evening, Aamon was in his hotel room tallying up the amount of gold he still had stored away in his vault. Even if he decided to just leave the fake dimension, he would still have more than enough money to support himself. At this point, Aamon was in a difficult position because he needed to decide whether he should make a move that would only put his neck in danger of being slashed by Hoxfur's blade, or whether he should just let the situation continue so that Hoxfur could completely cut through his neck. In the end, it wouldn't matter how things turned out because he would still die in any of the options he was thinking. Had he even not lied down, he would have been swiftly pierced through by those blades. After witnessing that, Aamon immediately carried Hoxfur and swiftly dashed off to take cover beyond a large waste bin. It was large enough to cover them up but too stinky that the two of them nearly puked. As Aamon watched, his hands began to shake as he was confronted with the image of Hoxfur behaving in such a reckless manner. Aamon just had this overwhelming sense that he was solely to blame for everything that had transpired with them both. If he could remember things correctly, he would have been able to recall that they were on their way to leave the area. Nothing else existed in his field of vision other than Aamon's plain features. It did nothing but make him even more perplexed about how Aamon had managed to become so powerful. Suddenly, Aamon manages to escape even from the black security guard’s strong hold on him.
