CHAPTER FOURTEEN.

It was already past seven in the evening when Alex’s maybach came to a halt in front of the gate and he gently alighted but before he could press on the doorbell, his phone buzzed and he rolled his eyes to the back of his head when he saw the caller ID.

“Hello” his voice echoed when he pressed the phone against his ears.

“Dinner is scheduled for eight, Alex” Clarrisa’s voice resonated in his ears, “I have already texted the address to you”

“Okay” and without waiting for her response, he ended the call and proceeded to knock on the gate.

After a while, a man came out and a look of recognition flashed across his face.

“I am surprised that you still came here, Alexander”

He gave a weird smile as his eyes flashed across the house which he knew as a child. The house in which he grew up as a kid with his sisters and Parents, the house in which another man was living in.

“I just can’t help it, i really needed to talk to you”

The man nodded and studied him for a while before beckoning him.
