The Big Reveal I

That same night ~ Somewhere in the city

“Is it done?” Adonis asked, glancing at Lilian with his grey eyes. He was a handsome man, well built and very masculine. Adonis had all the qualities that a lady would drool for over a man, but there was one thing he was lacking.

“Yes it is,” Lilian placed the big brown envelope on the glass table and made herself comfortable.

Adonis had decided they met in a lounge, he didn’t want anyone to know he was having an affair yet, especially his mother.

“Was it that simple? Thought it would take days,” he smiled, opening the envelope with his gaze still on Lilian who was grinning all along.

“I can be very convincing you know,” Lilian replied, batting her eyelashes seductively. This was the kind of man she wanted in her life, a man who was not only handsome but rich and wealthy, Adonis would give her the world and Anthony Marcellus could eat her ass for all she cared.

Adonis' smile widened when he saw that the divorce papers had been signed, he now had Lilian all to himself. The beautiful accountant he had met at a mall, the fact that she was a well educated woman made him happier than ever. His father would be pleased.

However, Lilian being educated wasn’t the only thing that attracted Adonis to her, she was outstandingly beautiful. Oval shaped face, silky blonde hair and an angelic blue eyes. Ever since they met, he always wondered how she ended up with a man who washes cars; but he later found out how it happened from Lilian.

Lilian would make him complete, he was thirty seven and he had to get off the market to prove to his dad that he had changed, that he was now the responsible child he had always wished for.

Adonis was the first child of his mother, and eventually he became the only child. Because of this he was very spoiled from childhood, his mother was overprotective and wouldn’t allow his father discipline him; this made Adonis grow into an irresponsible man.

At college he was an alcoholic, womaniser and every other thing bad kids do, because of his parents' wealth; he constantly looked down on others and he was very proud. However, when he became a complete adult, Adonis left those lifestyles but there were two things he couldn’t do without; gambling and womanising.

One of the reasons he wanted to get off the market was because of his womanising habits, he thought marriage would help him curb it, but apart from that, Adonis truly loved Lilian Anderson.

His gambling habit had put him in trouble severally and had cost him millions of dollars, but because of his father’s wealth. Adonis didn’t really care. But presently, he was trying his best to stay away from both gambling and womanising to please his father.

“Shall we celebrate?” He announced and signalled for the waitress to come over.

“Yes please, been a while since I’ve celebrated,” Lilian sighed, placing her Chanel bag on the glass table.

Her life was about to change forever.

Anthony woke up feeling very tired the next morning, the previous night had been both bad and good, things he couldn’t believe happened and now today was the day he would meet his father, after thirty five years of thinking his dad was dead.

He couldn’t stop thinking about it, he had seen Sir Winconstin several times on television but seeing him in real life as his father would be very much different.

How was he even going to react, today was a big day for him; he wasn’t really thinking about Lilian very much anymore. Mr. Walker had come in and changed his life immediately after Lilian left him, it was the right time. If not he’d be drinking himself to stupor at this very moment.

He sighed, sitting on the bed with his hands covering his face, he turned around and gazed at the other side of the bed, he felt a sharp pain. Lilian was supposed to be there, he was wrong, he was still thinking about her and he still very much loved and wanted her.

But, this wasn’t the time to worry about things he couldn’t control, it was high time he faced reality and moved on. Lilian left him because he was poor, he wasn’t going to take her back, even if he still loved her. He promised himself that.

Anthony got off the bed and stretched, he approached his window and dragged the curtains sideways to allow the setting sun find its way into the room, but it wasn’t only the sun that showed through the window.

There were two Cadillacs outside his duplex, and three guards standing in front of each car, dressed in black suits and red ties. Tony couldn’t believe his eyes, they were probably waiting for him, Walker didn’t tell him this part, he was already thinking how he’d get to Sir Winconstin’s estate with his old Nissan truck.

A smile curled up Tony’s lips as he continued looking at the people outside his house, it was then he remembered the words of Mr. Walker. As from today, he was the son of Sir Winconstin, so this was how the son of Sir Winconstin moved around.

He quickly rushed to the shower, his mind was filled with joy like a child who was about to meet Santa, but one part of him wasn’t really happy with his father, but for now he allowed the joy to rule his heart. He had been unhappy for a very long time, this little time of happiness that he was having, he’d embrace it. Even though he knew it wouldn’t last long.

After about thirty minutes, he was done; wearing one of his finest old suits, which was a little rumpled on some sides, even the white shirt he wore underneath wasn’t all that white, anyone who saw him would know that he was just flexing his old clothes. But that was all he had, despite that; Anthony Marcellus was a fine man.

He had very dark hair, finely shaped jawline; full soft and tender lips, rare green eyes, his lashes were longer than most women and he wasn’t only handsome, he had the appearance of an alpha male. Anthony was masculine with broad chest and shoulders, heavy biceps and thick laps. Being poor didn’t make him look so good, but either way, women would still drool over him, even if it’s just a one night stand, they’d want it.

Anthony walked briskly out of the door, shutting it behind him; just then Walker Smith came down from one of the cars that was parked outside.

Tony was surprised to see him, he didn’t know Walker was in one of the cars.

“Took you long enough,” Walker smiled, scanning Anthony with his eyes, from head to toe.

He was looking very handsome but the clothes he was wearing were looking so old and out of shape for a man of his calibre. Anthony smiled back, and paused as he watched Walker assess him.

“No, no no.. we’ve to get you to a boutique,” Walker tilted his head negatively and walked back to the car, Anthony followed him heaving a sigh of somewhat disappointment and relief.

They were already on their way to any boutique around town when Tony asked. “What’s wrong with the clothes?”

“You’ve been poor for so long, that you do not know when a cloth is out of quality, what you’re wearing is making you look less of a man even though you look more than a man,” Walker stated, he didn’t hide his discontent.

Those words were heavy on Anthony, he didn’t respond; he just looked away and stared out of the window. Maybe Walker was right, he had been poor for so long that he didn’t know how it feels like to be rich again.

“Have you checked your cell phone this morning?” Walker asked, making Anthony revert his attention from the window to him again.

“Why’d you ask?” Tony looked at Walker confusedly.

“Just do it, you ask too many questions,” Walker scoffed and took the bottle of champagne that had been sitting in front of them all along with two glasses.

Tony quickly fumbled with his inner jacket pocket where he had placed his cell phone before coming out of the house. He tapped twice on the screen and the phone came to life, the first thing he saw made his mouth fall agape and the cell phone fell from his hand.

Walker chuckled, and continued pouring himself a drink.

“Ten Million dollars?”

“That’s just the tip of the iceberg, Anthony; Sir Winconstin doesn’t want to surprise you too much. That is just to make you look like his son, not some wretched man. The real money is on its way. Anthony Marcellus.” Walker explained, tilting his glass cup with a generous smile on his face.

Tony couldn’t believe it, there were many things he couldn’t believe but they were happening right in his eyes. Just awhile ago, he had just $500 in his account and now he had $10million just for him to take care of himself. Just how rich was Sir Winconstin, Tony thought as he bent to pick up his cell phone.

“But how’d you get my account?”

“There are many things we know, Anthony. Okay, we’re here, let’s get you glammed up,” Walker announced, alighting from the car.

Anthony alighted from the other door, he didn’t even know when they entered a mall, he was still in awe.

In a few minutes, Walker had picked the best tuxedo suit in the store and glammed Anthony up. It was a blue suit, with a white undershirt and black shiny shoes. He also finished it up with a VVS chain and a one million dollar Cartier wrist watch. Anthony was looking so handsome and women who passed by were all staring at him as they saw him through the glass walls of the store.

“You now look like the son of Sir Winconstin II” Walker praised, clapping his hands loudly with a golden smile on his face.

“It’s time for you to meet your father, Anthony,” Walker concluded, looking at Tony’s eyes.

Anthony heaved a huge sigh before he spoke “I’m ready,”
