Chapter Twenty-six

Armand's expression turned from calm to shock, his eyes widening in fear as his tattoo glowed brighter.

His mind raced with questions: "How is this possible? The tattoo is only visible to me, a sign of my time travel.

Does the god of time want me to complete my mission now? Has the boy also been sent back in time? How do I explain this to Carla? She's never seen it before and isn't supposed to know about my true identity?"

His thoughts swirled in chaos, Armand's eyes darting between the boy and Carla, unsure of what to do next. The boy's excitement and Carla's confusion only added to his anxiety. He knew he had to keep his time travel a secret, but the glowing tattoo threatened to expose him.

With a deep breath, Armand tried to compose himself, his voice steady as he asked the boy, “Can you see something in my arm?"

The boy nodded yes.

Armand's mind started racing ahead, searching for a way to conceal the truth and complete his mission without revealing his true identity.
