Chapter 4

Madam Ottiline's words trickled down his ears as he felt super pumped about the news he had just heard.

His heavy gaze lingered on her as he got hitched through myriads of thoughts within himself.

If everything was true, it meant that his current grave peril would be reversible.

He chuckled sably and inwardly to himself at the hardy Boyz. He couldn't help but be gleeful about their reactions when they found out who he was.

He felt a tug of relief etched in his heart.

"I need to check on my foster mom, grandma," He implored facing Ottiline who nodded her head and not in repugnance.

Her lips curved into a broad smile as she spoke with her lips twitching upwards in an amicable manner.

"Of course dear. You can confirm it for yourself, then she would be able to confirm how she and your foster Dad found you to keep you safe and bring you up to this point," Ottiline voice boomed in an aced manner.

"Alright.." Axel stuttered as he waggled out of the flashy mansion with his diamond card hidden within himself.

Of course, he knew that he would have to revert to his grandma so she could explain things to him, like how he could manage everything as the heir and with his inward desires to live as the heir surreptitiously.

"Boss, can I drop you off," Birch suggested when he glanced at Axel trying to board a taxi while the rain pattered.

"Ooh no, there is no need," Axel's lips twitched upward as he felt the rainwater sloshing. He knew he had to stick with living a low-profiled life no matter the cost.

He got to the hospital where his mother was admitted. With the diamond card with him, he could be able to pay all her medical bills.

"Hey! Axel, aren't you supposed to be in school at this time?" Oaklynn fluttered her droopy red eyelashes.

"Mom, it's a long story. I was expelled and it's Hayden and his guys, the hardy Boyz," Axel shrugged his shoulders.

"The hardy Boyz again! I guess they have finally acted in a presumptuous and diabolical manner than they already have!" Oaklynn veins popped in fury.

"It's okay Mom. Besides, I have good news and I want confirmation about something," Axel's face stiffened.

Oaklynn's face beamed out in curiosity as she anticipated the question that was about to be asked.

"Is it true my real parents died because they were killed by their enemies and then you found me?" Axel stuttered with quivering lips as his sober face squished further to the ground.

Tears tracked down his skin as he spoke because he couldn't hold it back anymore.

"I'm so sorry Axel. It's true and I had no idea who you were when your foster Dad and I found you on a bridge and we had to take you in," A slay tear slithered down Oaklynn's skin as he spoke.

"It's okay Mom. I have you to thank because you saved my life and I will forever be grateful," Axel gurgled as he engulfed her into his bosom.

"It seems to be an assassination that happened and we didn't have many details but the fact that an innocent child was at the brink of danger was downright appalling and we had to do something," Oaklynn sniffled.

"By the way, how did you know? Do you know your real parents?" Oaklynn eyes popped open in curiosity.

"Of course, I do know, but unfortunately they are late, but I met my grandma, Ottiline Bonneville," Axel massaged his temples in excitement.

"Wait a minute did you say Bonneville!" Oaklynn flicked her hair in amazement as a knot formed in her throat and she pressed her hands against her mouth to stifle a shriek.

"Yes Mom I just found out that I'm the direct son of Mateo and Brigitta Bonneville," Axel explained with a stern expression.

"Wow. If you are the lost heir, you are indeed a billionaire," Oaklynn's eyes beamed gleefully at Axel.

"Yes, Mom. As it is now, I have already cleared your medical bills and you will be treated sooner," Axel said in euphoria.

"Wow! Thanks, son, I'm sure the doctor would be flustered because he was already accustomed to our financial status," Oaklynn said.

"Yes, Mom. About that, I wish to keep a low profile regarding that aspect," Axel stroked his chin as he stiffened his face.

"Yes that's true to avoid the same enemies that killed your father, that would be a beguiling plan," Oaklynn chuckled sadly.

"Indeed Mother," Axel stroked his chin in a resolving manner as he got ready to leave.

"Just be careful son, even though you were never our biological son, I would always see you like that. Too bad Henley wasn't alive to see this gleeful day," Tears pricked against Oaklynn's eyes.

"It's okay Mom. I would always see you both as my parents even though you aren't my biological one," Axel heaved a broad smile as he returned to the mansion.

On his way, he got a message from Drew McConnell who informed him about his knowledge that he was expelled.

Gertrude Greer couldn't take it anymore. He had to let the cat out of the bag especially to Axel's closest friends once and for all.

"I will explain everything to you when we see," Axel typed after he switched off his phone and got to his flashy mansion where Ottiline was waiting for him.

Ottiline had been informing him about the company so far since he had arrived.

"It's your inheritance, it's the main base of all other operations and other business of the whole Bonneville," Ottiline announced.

Axel's jaw dropped. He couldn't fathom being the head of everything his father owned.

"But I need to do everything covertly because I am still in High school and funny enough I was expelled because of some bullies," He stuttered.

"Ooh, from which high school?" Ottiline's lips twitched upwards in curiosity.

"Duncan Hillside High School," Axel reverberated his words loudly.

"Ooh, that's the school your father built and owns and he names it after his father Duncan Bonneville who is also late before your father," Ottiline chuckled.

Ottiline's words bubbled tempestuously in his heart and his eyes popped open.

"Ooh, my goodness!" Axel shrieked.

"Yes, grandson. You have nothing to worry about. You will return to school and when you are done you will be able to manage the company but my manager Birch will put you through gradual training so that you will learn everything when it's time," Ottiline explained.

"Alright noted but I need to make sure everything is done covertly," Axel caveated.

"Ooh, it's alright grandson. Anything you wish," Ottiline massaged her temples.

Birch waggled towards them. "Ooh, and Birch also serves as a representative sometimes at the school to handle things," Ottiline announced.

"Ooh Birch, please can I ask for just a favour? Which is that you don't reveal who I am to anyone," Axel caveated.

"Sure boss," Birch retorted and Axel pondered about his next step of action. He knew he was returning to the school.
