Chapter 3

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting so long, Prince." Violet approached Aaron after just changing her clothes.

Violet was wearing a white shirt with a knee-length black span skirt. Her body no longer felt cold because she had cleaned herself briefly using warm water. Although she felt guilty for making Aaron wait too long.

They were in a large house with luxurious decorations in every corner. Aaron sat on a large sofa with a cup of hot coffee on the table and a thick white towel wrapped around his shoulders. Her hair, which was starting to dry after a little rain, was still messy.

Aaron rubbed his hair as he took the towel and held it. "So, what did you come here for?"

Violet sat down slowly in a polite manner, facing Aaron. "Our purpose in seeking you out here is to ask you to return to Austar to be heir to the throne, Prince."

Aaron looked at Violet with a cold glare in his eyes. "Heir to the throne? He needs me?"

Violet nodded her head. "Yes, Prince." She spoke quietly and carefully, knowing the conflict between the king and the Prince of Austar. "Who else will look after Austar if not you, Prince? Austar has changed a lot now, and surely you must know that too, Prince."

Aaron exhaled softly while picking up his coffee cup, still puffing hot smoke. "I'll think about it since I'd rather be here. I need some time to relax." He took a slow sip of his hot coffee.

Violet nodded in understanding of him and Olson's sudden arrival in Aaron's presence. She could understand that. "Well, I understand, Prince." Violet opened her voice again with a different topic of conversation. "So, how is your wife doing? Miss Zara."

Aaron stopped sipping his drink when he heard Zara's name come out of Violet's mouth. Of course, the first thing that went through Aaron's mind was how Violet knew this. Didn't that woman just come to the city of Mahataran?

Seeing the look of confusion on Aaron's face, Violet quickly explained. "I'm sorry, Prince. I already know some information about you, including the information that Prince Aaron is married, and if this is your consideration for returning because you don't want to leave Miss Zara, of course, you can bring Miss Zara to live with you in the kingdom, Prince."

Violet also learned other information about Aaron and Zara that Aaron had actually been helping Zara's work and secretly helping the Campbell family from behind with the assets that Aaron had brought with him when he escaped from the kingdom so that Zara and her family could be in the successful position they were in today.

Aaron put his coffee cup on the table and casually replied to Violet's offer to bring Zara to Austar. "We're divorced. I even got kicked out with $500."

Violet and Olson were surprised to hear Aaron's words. They were even more shocked to hear that Aaron had only $500 in his pocket. It was very little money for the Prince of Austar. Even their allowance was bigger than that. The looks on Olson and Violet's faces quickly seemed to turn into annoyance.

"How can they treat you like this, Prince? They are gone too far." Olson commented in a rather high tone of voice.

Violet's face turned red. She was distraught but had to maintain her manners in Aaron's presence. The blonde woman shook her head, her cheeks slightly puffed up with anger. "How rude of them. I will chastise Zara and punish her severely for mistreating you like this, Prince."

Aaron raised one hand momentarily, then gave Violet a cold stare. "There's no need. I'm not in favor of that. I'd rather take it slow. And the reason I wanted to be here was purely to relax."

Violet exhaled heavily at Aaron's words. She watched Aaron with a concerned look on her face. Violet felt that her Prince was very pitiful. "I will prepare everything well so that you can take revenge on them."

Violet looked visibly excited, with her eyes sparkling. Her wet, wavy blonde hair moved slightly as Violet's head nodded confidently at her words. She was ready to avenge Zara for getting her Prince into trouble.

Aaron watched the Violet in front of him intently. His light gray eyes searched Violet's face without skipping an inch. Violet had always been beautiful; now that she was older, she was even more beautiful with her long, wavy blonde hair. Aaron recognized that, especially during the rain. Violet looked absolutely stunning with her wet face and hair.

Aaron fixed his sitting position quietly. "How about you become my woman?"

"What?" Violet was surprised to hear Aaron's offer. She was confused and thought that her Prince had turned into a strange person. In her heart, she said, "Did Prince Aaron hit his head on something, or could it be that he has turned into a pervert?" Violet shuddered slightly at the thought of those possibilities, so she adopted a vigilant stance with her eyes gazing cautiously at Aaron.

Aaron could see a different vibe from Violet. "Take it easy, I'm not as bad as you think." He spoke as if he could read Violet's heart.

Of course, that embarrassed Violet. She immediately bowed her head with her hands and played with the hem of her dress. "I'm sorry, Prince." She felt stupid for thinking badly of her Prince, which made her unconsciously show disrespectful behavior in front of Aaron.

Aaron picked up his coffee cup, which was now getting cold. "I'm sure you're coming to this Mahataran city that is unknown to the people of Austar." He took a small sip of his drink and then looked at Violet confidently. "And I'm also pretty sure that no one knows you're my secretary."

Violet smiled reluctantly as she fixed her hair behind her ear. "No one knows except Olson and, of course, our king, the Prince."

Aaron nodded his head. It was exactly as he had expected. Of course, Violet wouldn't suddenly become Aaron's secretary without an order from the king. Aaron had already guessed that. He gulped down the remaining chocolate drink in the cup, then placed it on the table after thinking of something as the beginning of his revenge plan on Zara.

"That's good then. You just need to disguise yourself and become my woman." Aaron's words made Violet look confused. Aaron could read the look on Violet's face very clearly. "Soon, there will be a party held here and I want you to accompany me there."

Violet nodded her head with a smile, beginning to understand Aaron's offer. "Yes, Prince. Of course, I will do that for you and prepare everything well." Her tone of voice sounded very excited, and she had a bright, cheerful look. "I will make you get what you want, Prince Aaron."
