Adrian's Awakening: Wake up in the magical world

That was how from the sky a strange figure emerged, he was a man, a man of apparently age much more mature than the director himself Roxanne. 

The man descended while a dark cloud led him to the ground.

That mysterious subject had the most penetrating and terrifying look that Adrián would ever have seen, even in a horror movie he used to see when he lived his past life. His clothes were strange, he looked like a Chinese warrior from the time of the Terracota War.

Adrián knew because he had read a lot about that war in the books that devoured every night and without stopping since he took over the love of reading at his new life. 

There was once the reason why the director had of those books at home did, and when asked, she said that she kept them because since she was titled as director of the Academy where he studied to be a specialist, the former director had a lot of books that he never collected at the time of his resignation, and although she had not ever read their content, she decided to leave them at home to keep them because they appeared to be relics.

Adrián could notice that this mysterious man came from another era not only because of the way he dressed, but also, he knew it for the way he appeared; crossing a magical portal that he created to transport himself to this world.

That subject did not look like a threat, or that was not what Adrián sensed that it would be to have it more closely. The man landed, but he did not stop his cloud on the ground to rest from his sitting position in which he came and stand up.

His arms were crossed, and his hands were hidden under the sleeves of his dark suit.

The director Roxanne looked at him seriously, with the same distrust that she always looked at her enemies. 

On the other hand, Ally was scared, and decided to take refuge, hiding behind Adrián's back and taking it from the left arm where his fencing sword rested to feel protected.

Adrián could not take his eyes off that man, not because he was afraid, but because he generated distrust and incomprehensible mystery.

"Who are you? Where do you come from, and what do you want? ”, Director Roxanne asked, after a good time they remained silent.

The sky that was previously blue and accompanied by the strong sun rays, now, has died an inexplicable dark purple color with the presence of that man.

The mysterious man remained silent for a few more seconds, scanning with his gaze each of those present. His expression was stoic, but his eyes reflected an overwhelming weight, as if he had loaded with the responsibility of countless lives on his shoulders.

Finally, he slightly bowed his head and spoke with a deep and firm voice.

“My name is Han Longwei. I come from a distant world, one that is on the verge of collapse due to unstoppable war. ”

The director Roxanne narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms, analyzing each word cautiously.

“A distant world? And what does it have to do with us? ”, His tone was severe, without a hint of trust. He spoke as if he had the need to interrogate him to know the truth of his appearance.

Han Longwei looked at her without flinching.

“A calamity is approaching. In my world, depth monsters have begun to emerge, endless hordes that devastate everything in their path. For years, my people have fought with courage, but we are losing ground. The only hope that we have left is a specialist strong enough to stop this crisis before it is too late. ”

Adrián felt a chill to travel his back. Something inside him told him that he already knew where that conversation was going.

"And what does Adrian have to do with all this?" Asked the director, her look at Han Longwei. As if not taking into account the presence of Ally, and immediately, knew that the man had come, it was for Adrián and not for her or for any other student of the Academy of more powerful specialists in his world. 

The man set his attention on Adrián, observing him carefully.

“I have tracked the existence of a reincarnated in this world. A soul of the land that has trained tirelessly, which has learned and evolved in this new destiny. That reincarnated is him, ” he told Adrián with a slight movement of the head.

Adrián felt as if the air weighs him. He pressed his fists, trying to order his thoughts to know what decision to make at that moment.

"Do you want me to go with you?" He asked with a tone of disbelief.

"That's right," said Han Longwei. I need your help. Not only for my lands, but what happens in my world could expand beyond its borders. This calamity will not stop until every corner of existence. You are the only person with the potential to face it.

The director Roxanne frowned.

“And how can we trust that you tell the truth? From what we know, you could be manipulating us to get what you want, without us to be certain that really is the reason you have come and that you do not have other intentions with my boy. ”

Han Longwei did not seem to be altered by his words. Slowly, he extended a hand and a small dark orb appeared floating on his palm. Inside, chaotic figures danced in a terrifying vision: ruins, burning skies, colossal creatures devouring entire landscapes.

Ally, who still clung to Adrián's arm, held his breath when he saw that image.

"This is what we are facing," Han Longwei said solemnity. “And this is the truth that cannot be ignored. Otherwise, if this happens, there could be chaos worse than the destruction of my world, and more worlds could end up involved. ”

The silence seized the environment. Adrián felt the weight of the decision on him. Accept meant leaving everything behind, entering an unknown danger and fighting an unimaginable threat. But if he refused ... could he load with the guilt of ignoring such an urgent call if the fate of this world depended on him?

Finally, he breathed deep and looked at Han Longwei with determination.

"Tell me ... When do we start?"

Ally and director Roxanne looked at him with surprise, both were amazed that Adrián had made that hurried decision without measuring the consequences of their actions.

“Adrián, please, think about it. You cannot make such precipitated decisions, ” director Roxanne spoke, she was very concerned about what Adrian could happen to a new world that he himself did not know.
