Chapter 15: Planet G1111

The planet seemed to be grey in color for some reason. It looked like thunder clouds surrounded the entire planet. It almost looked apocalyptic from the outside.

Ethan and Chronna felt confused as to who would live there and why someone would order pizza in a place like that.

But they didn’t give it much of any thought. Their job wasn’t to think why someone would order pizza but to simply deliver it to the customer.

While ascending down on top of a mountain, Ethan and Chronna both saw a lizard-like man standing alone over there.

“There! That must be our guy,” Chronna pointed as they made their landing. Well, it was easy to tell since the individual was the only one they saw around the vast place.

“Anchovies! Where are my anchovy pizzas?!” The lizard man yelled. He was drooling while looking at them impatiently.

“Easy there, man, I have the pizzas right here,” Ethan patted his bag to assure the lizard man, “You must be the Time Keeper,” he added.

Chronna was curious as she did not expect a Time Keeper to act this way. He was like an addict that needed his shot badly.

Thankfully, the lizard man composed himself after hearing what Ethan said. He released a sigh before nodding. He said, “Yes, I am the Time Keeper of Planet G1111.”

The planet G1111 was in the worst possible state. The whole planet from the outside had a grayish appearance.

From inside, a multicolor thunder shower rose to the sky and fell on the surface, destroying everything it touched. It was very strange but a sight worth seeing.

Ethan looked in all directions, watching as the explosions ripped through large fragments of earth.

When next to him, he heard the lizard man.

“What are you waiting for?!! Where’s my pizza?!”

Ethan saw it with some haste and smiling, took the pizzas out of his case, giving them.

The lizard man took the first slice and slid it down his throat without even chewing.

The show was terrible, and Chronna wished she hadn’t eaten before seeing that. Ethan shook his head, and again, looking at the panorama in the distance.

“Hey! What is happening in this place?” Ethan asked curiously.

The lizard man was sliding another slice of pizza down his throat when he looked at the boy. He then gazed towards the light show.

Every time a lightning bolt came down hard, he jumped.

Chronna looked around her, and in the distance, she saw a town.

It was not very big, but it seemed that she could easily shelter about five hundred people.

As she looked at the town, the lizard man took another slice, and as if it was nothing more than a Monday at work.

“Is it the end of the world? This planet is over,” The lizardman said muffled as he was chewing another piece of pizza.

Ethan heard lightning strike the city, and he and Chronna shared a puzzled look.

Chronna looking at the lizardman, could not help but ask, end of the world? What do you mean?”

The lizard man slid another slice of pizza down his throat. While looking at the young woman, he answered, "end of the world! This planet will disappear in a cataclysmic event of total destruction apocalypse. This great rock will be cosmic dust in a few seconds!”

Chronna did not appreciate the lizard’s tone, she felt silly from the way she had said it, but clearly, there were mitigating situations in front of her.

Another lightning struck fearfully close to where they were.

“Are you talking seriously?” Chronna asked with disbelief. She added while glaring at the lizardman, “And what do we do here? All of this will be destroyed!”

The lizard looked at her and gave a huge snort. After that, she turned her gaze to see Ethan, who kept looking towards the town.

“This is especially slow, right?” The lizardman asked.

Ethan paid no attention to Chronna’s face of indignation, and looking towards the town, he took out from his bag of artifacts some glasses.

The ones that he got were the type of glasses, where when he placed them over his eyes, he could use them as binoculars.

It did not take long for him to see the town. He saw how people ran from one place to another.

“This planet is inhabited?” Ethan blurted out in disbelief as he continued to watch the town.

The lizard nodded, eating the last slice of the first pizza.

When Ethan looked at him, on his lizard face, there was not the slightest expression of pity, compassion, or fear, and he was simply enjoying his anchovies.

He looked completely indifferent, when he was supposed to be the Time Keeper of this planet.

Was there something that he should be doing?

“How can you say that so calmly! There are many people who will die!” Chronna exploded. The first time she saw this Time Keeper, she already did not like him, more so at that moment.

The lizardman took another slice of pizza before he looked at the girl and casually remarked, “There are not so many. Like five hundred maximum.”

Chronna felt her heart clench, and she looked at Ethan completely puzzled. She thought that he would be more suited to this reality, but his eyes were as angry as hers.

Looking towards the town, she shed several tears and said, “Why don't we help them escape!? Let’s rescue them!”

However, the lizardman shook his head as he swallowed another piece of pizza.

“No! Of course not!” He refused. Before he added, “These people have to die here, and if they were rescued, their memory would create other timelines and bring a huge amount of Chaos. The timelines have to be born spontaneously. If we intervene, then we, the Time Keepers, are not doing our job correctly.”

Chronna watched as the lizardman took another piece of pizza to swallow it indifferently.

She was shaking from anger at this moment. Before she could think, she approached the Time Keeper and slapped the pizza from his hand.

The lizard saw the piece of pizza on the dirty floor with a hint of terrible sadness.

“What did you do?” The lizardman asked Chronna with a fit of restrained anger.

She looked at him without the slightest fear, and even though his teeth were sharp and his body was tall and stocky, she replied, “We can’t let them die!”

The clearly angry lizard responded, “We have to do it! They must perish with their planet! It’s not your decision, girl!”

She glared at him and said through gritted teeth, “We cannot leave them to their own devices! It’s only five hundred people, you said so. How hard can it be?”

The lizard stood up at full height.

Chronna’s eyes were wide open. But she did not back down. Nevertheless, Chronna felt fear seeing the gigantic lizard glaring at her.

“Listen! If you don’t let me help you!! We will never bring you your filthy pizzas ever again!” Chronna yelled with chin up.

The lizard opened his eyes in terror. He glanced at Ethan, who nodded while his arms crossed over his chest. Ethan was clearly one hundred percent supporting Chronna.

“You… Irregulars are rebelling?!” The lizardman muttered in disbelief. He really could not believe that there would be a time when Irregulars were courageous enough to threaten him, a Time Keeper.
